Its certainly not good for his morale at this point !
And honestly I am more interested in what I get to see on TV...if he feels sad, it will affect his work and he wont be a good villian...and I DEMAND a good villian this time! Someone I can respectfully fear and hate! So yeah I wanna see him taking this change as a challenge and not a demotion or something...and fans certainly contribute an big influence on any actor!

The truth is that he is an average actor who landed a lead role.

He has not got into the skin of the role. Common... is this way to play the role of a superstar, no attitude and no single quality that epitomises a superstar...

See. I commented on a post just yesterday that asked if anyone feels sorry for GU. I don't understand why I should feel sorry for him. Is he getting kicked out? Is he being bullied on the sets? Or has he been a male lead of a show for 1.5 years only to come to the news one fine day that he would have to play a middle aged father of the actress he romanced just till yesterday onscreen? Or is he a hhard working and dedicated female lead who was promised a strong and glamorous role ''twice'' but didn't get it? No, nah? 😛

The way I see it he still gets to play a pivotal role in the show. He still gets his screen time. He still gets to work with finest actors on TV of this generation. He still gets to improve and prove that he is a capable actor. He is still getting his break. So what is the big deal? He didn't work as the male lead. He knows that. Everyone knows that. So he is being sidelined. And it's not even a shock. There was always only a fool's hope of him getting even remotely as popular as the previous lead. Not just because he replaced a popular male lead but also because his character was somehow indirectly responsible for a loved and popular onscreen couple's untimely and tragic death.The way I see it he is only being given second chance at it.

As for his fans, they are too busy cursing other people, whining and making jokes that are neither funny nor worth our time or breath... so I will say that though your post is much needed here but no one who should get it will get the message.
