I think we are thinking too much re. VD will never come back and nor will AS approach him with current story line. Everything is over re and AS is already fixed with his long running story. He wants to show Madhu-AK romance... superstar's daughter struggle and then Kapoor's family politics. He is clear with his vision. He only said this to calm or say make VD's or RK's fans a little happy. Forget VD but no new male lead have place in the current story and cast if we go by the story he said in the interview.
