Mb is 4th position in colors according to trp,which has a good chance to rise as per the new story line of forced marriage. Now they are showing AK family because CV's may wanted the viwers get attached with AK family n its problems, sothat they can continue it as a hate- love story with family kitchen politics. They showed Jr. M as weak bcoz always weak n suffering female lead attract typical serial viewers.Once viwers attached with AK family, TRP also will increase. May be DD fans not enjoy the story, but the trp people will be attracted by this type of story.

Well Colors has just launched two shows and they would launch any shows before IPL and its no rocket science, what rocket science is? MB is a prime time show and the show that comes on prime time slots have highest paid advertisements.. so even if SSK is number:2 show on the colors its not as profitable as that of MB or BI... in 2012 and early 2013 MB used to get ads for 10-12 minutes and now MB has ads of 7-8 minutes long.. that explains how much loss the channel is facing.. so its very much justifies for them to shut shop a 3rd or 4th most viewed show and keep a 5 or 6th most watched show .. in the end of the day its a business for them.

About AK's family.. they are not making people like AK's family they are just repelling the bache kucha viewers with the overdoes of AK's family and their stupid fights which are yawn worthy.. and the family of the male lead only enters when the wedding is on cards.. or sometimes after the wedding only.. so people adjust to the new family as both hero and heroine live with them.and if I am not wrong MB has a different viewership it doesnt has the support of TRP aunties.. as saas-bahu saga and family drama has never worked for MB. it was always the love-hate between Rishbala that got them TRPs.. and another reason was both DVD had that strong fan following , their fans alone could get them good TRPs.. when they showed a balanced storyline both the fan groups watched and that was the success period for MB.
