CHAPTER-26

RK went to his room and he took the dress and was about to move towards washroom when he felt something on his foot. When he saw it was an envelope and he quickly grabbed and opened it. He tilted the envelope and found a foto and a letter. He read the letter.

RK(angrily): "This cant happen MADHU"

At the party

Maasi to herself: "I hope my plan works as expected"

Madhu (seeing Maasi in deep thought she asked): "Maasi what happened?"

Maasi: "No I was thinking about Rishu"

Madhu: "Even i..."

Suddenly her mobile vibrated

Madhu to herself: "Santhosh. Oh God I forgot about him coz of Mr.Intimidating Idiot"

Madhu attended the call.

Madhu(panicked): "Santhosh, what happened? Nothing happened to you rite. I mean..."

Santhosh(cutting her): "Akka I am fine and I called you today morning but you didn't attend my call. What happened akka?"

Madhu: "I am sorry I mean I was busy"

Santhosh: "Its ok akka. Since you didn't pick up my call I called Rishab sir"

Madhu(shocked): "WHAT?"

Santhosh: "Yes akka to know where are you? Akka actually I called to inform that my principal asked for you"

Madhu: "Why?"

Santhosh(excited): "Since I am a bright child they want me to join in school's dream project. Akka imagine me competing with lakhs of people. But the cost was high so I told them I am not interested but they wanted to talk to you. So I tried calling you but you didn't attend so I got scared and I called Rishab sir and he asked what the matter is and I told him everything and he immediately came and he told my principal that I will accept the offer as he will sponsor me that amount."

Madhu(shocked): "What? Santhosh, why did you accept the offer?"

Santhosh: "Akka Rishu sir is so nice."

Madhu(even more shocked): "What? Now you are taking his side. How come you suddenly take his side?"

Santhosh: "Akka he told me I am sponsoring the amount to my friend. So I couldn't turn up the offer."

Madhu: "Ok leave it I will deal with him once he reaches the party"

Santhosh: "Not only that akka he even took me to shopping"

Madhu: "Shopping?"

Santhosh: "Yes and he bought me lots of clothes. He bought one for Sikki bhai's wedding and he told that he likes the color"(Saying that he giggled)

Madhu to herself: "What is running in his mind?"

Madhu: "Santhosh, forget about that and tell me are you ok?"

Santhosh: "Yes akka I am fine and how are you and when are coming back?"

Madhu: "We will reach one day before the wedding which means

Santhosh: "Haiya I can see you within 4 days"

Madhu(smiling): "Yes and so take care and bye"

Santhosh: "You too akka and bye"

They both kept the phone and suddenly Maasi came near Madhu.

Maasi: "Madhu, you come with me"

Madhu: "Where Maasi?"

Maasi: "Forgot! To meet my friend"

Madhu: "Oh ya yes Maasi"

Maasi: "Chalo lets go"

Maasi introduced Madhu to her friend and her friend's son. They were having fun. Suddenly she spotted Rishab coming. So she took her friend towards RK for introduction.

Maasi: "Rishu meet my friend Reshma"

RK(grumpily): "Hello aunty"

Maasi: "Why are so grumpy today?"

RK: "Nothing like that Maasi. Just work"

Maasi: "Yes you completed the work rite"

RK: "Yes Maasi"

Meanwhile Reshma excused herself as her mobile was ringing.

RK: "Maasi, where is Madhu?"

Maasi: "Yes, she was with me. Ya look over there she is talking with Manav"

RK(angryily and looking towards Madhu): "MANAV?"

[As his eyes fell on her his anger vanished all of a sudden. He was really mesmerized by her beauty and he was looking at her features like her hazel eyes, her perfectly shaped nose, her lips which is red partially due to lipstick and she was biting her lips ... taking his own time. She was laughing freely and he was melting with her laugh. This expression was noticed by Maasi(smiled inwardly)]

Maasi: "Yes Reshma's son. I thought about Madhu's rishta with Manav. What do you think?"

RK(angrily): "Maasi... Maasi... I..."

Maasi to herself: "Just the reaction I want and now to rub salt on his wound"

Maasi: "Rishu, you know he is a nice boy who earns 80,000/month. Their Jodi also rocks na. What say? Rishu I am asking you and... Oh so you left from the place. Just as I thought and now the confrontation with Madhu(and she smirked). My work is over here and now I have to leave the place."

As Maasi left the place her mobile started ringing.

Maasi: "Sikki bhi na. Cant even wait till I reach home.(answering the call) Sikki, cant you wait till I reach home?"

Sikki: "Maasi, I am going cracker with worries and you expect me to be patient and how will I be patient? I am here helpless and Rishu is there and I don't know what he is doing and how he will react towards Madhu and I am here... cant help her. Waise RK did he reach the party?"

Maasi: "Ya Sikki he reached the party and Why are worrying about Madhu?"

Sikki: "Just thinking how RK will react to Madhu and on top of that you have left her alone in the party. She alone is gonna see his wrath. I know RK very well. He will vent out his anger towards her. Maasi she is like a sister to me and I cant see her in tears."

Maasi: "No Sikki, this time I am sure he will tell her exactly what he feels for her"

Sikki: "Maasi how can you be so sure"

Maasi: "Coz I have seen the spark in his eyes"

Sikki: "What exactly was written in the letter?"

Maasi: "Few weeks back I told my friend I have seen a girl for her son and asked her to send his foto. She sent me a letter and foto. In the letter she specified about the girl who has somewhat similar in charater like Madhu. You should have seen RK's face. Oh my god"

Sikki: "I am seriously missing all the fun. By the way Maasi after 4 days is my marriage and I want you to be present in my marriage."

Maasi: "Of course I will come. Probably we will hear some good news from your friend"

Sikki: "I hope so Maasi and I seriously feel something is really gonna happen in the party."

Maasi: "I hope it turns to be good. Ok Sikki what's happening there? How is Trishna?..."

And their conversation continued

In the party

RK was storming in what? Pain? Jealousy? Or something? But his eyes were only on Madhu who was still with Manav. Suddenly Manav asked Madhu for a dance which she readily accepted. Both were dancing and laughing and their activities were watched by RK like a hawk. RK had how many shots? Oh he didn't have the count but enough that he got drunk and he slowly proceeded towards Madhu. Madhu by now got adjusted with Manav. Suddenly Madhu felt someone's hand near her waist and she turned to see who is it and suddenly her eyes widened.

It was none other than RK THE RISHAB KUNDRA'

RK: "Madhu, you had enough dance with others. Come dance with me"

Before she could protest she was dragged to the dance floor.
