I get your point completely. The real sages or saints will not say anything even if they felt the presence of evil or get any bad feelings in the house. They may just quietly suggest some countermeasures under the guise of welfare of the family.My viewpoint here that the so-called gurus like these exist only because there are disciples who will give them time of the day to listen to such nonsense. If no one listens to him, this guy will be just another joe smith in the population. So the blame lies equally (if not more) on people like Pabo who listen to others rather than their own conscience and common sense. Blind faith is the most dangerous of its kind. No doubt she has the best of intentions at heart for RK but now there is another innocent girl involved here who is going to be put on trial for no fault of hers.
