Episode 386 Discussion: 25th Sept 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Note for Newcomers to this thread.

Extremist thoughts and moralizing thoughts are not welcome over this thread. It is entertainment show we are watching. The channel calls their programs as entertainment and we are watching the show. Discussions are welcome in light hearted and in realistic manner. Moral policing is not appreciated. We do not want to feel stifled into that kind of atmosphere here.

There are several other social welfare sites that are there to discuss the genuine issues. If for some reason, it is felt that social concerns have to be addressed and ethical and moral responsibility needs to be exercised for watching entertainment, then; certainly the forum is an open place to create separate ATs and build up that kind of propaganda.

Please heed to this as direct request and conditional requirement to participate in this thread. Strong words such as psychopaths unless used in show, need not be used to instigate riotous atmosphere or start sermonizing.

POINTERS for Writing/Posting of your reviews and thoughts over this EDT

Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.
Regulate the font size. Keep remembering that. It is really not pleasing to see big bolded letters for no special reason.
The thread becomes a mess when you give your review and do not REST for sometime until others have posted. Please understand, respites or reviews; once or twice are good for few pages...don't make a regular chat thread with your reiterating/whining/complaining on the same point. For the online readers, the thread becomes unpleasant read. There is a separate Complaints thread in Main Forum.
When episodic content is emotional, take a deep breath, give a good lengthy review; that acts as your vent in one single post...and make an exit to calm down your nerves if you still are possessed by only what you've seen.

what I liked in today's epi...👍🏼

RM our daily dose of romance..RM on the couch, and going off to sleep in each others arms

RK trying to make Madhu jealous..those don wale dialogues were hilarious..it's not just the dialogues but how they are delivered..it does create magic..VD 👏 his expressions are spot on..

RK announcing it to media that he's doing mahurat of his film after 2 days..

Kukuji's comment on MC..yeah plz ask him to take a bath and get a hair cut...

Pabo amused with chawlbala..believing Dips that she has kept this name "pyar se"

howz RK so confident abt making a grand never seen before movie? with this director and with these technicians?

clunk ! whether the movie is made or not, it's not the problem of the bank...they are lending money, they are getting the security, if RK's track record it clean, no bank should refuse him...and didn't he have to arrange for 10 crores only through money lenders? he must be having 35 crores with him, so what's the problem with budget?

Pabo and Radha..where are they heading to? Pabo seems to have filtered all the info which went against Madhu & is worried for Rishu's future..I wonder how did she accept Radha's second marriage, RK's 4 phera shadi (as if Madhu forced RK to marry her) , Bhatia's presence in RK mansion , MK's rangeen past and his bhool ka phool Sultan? so on and so forth..in this dysfunctional family, usko Madhu ki kami dikhi? I knew Radha will always stand by Madhu..but she cannot stop Pabo..

Today's episode was pretty good 👍🏼 A good mix of romance, family drama and professional issues. I hope the PH keeps on Prasad Gavandi as director. He brings in something extra to the episodes. I have also noticed the VD and DD look their best under his direction.

So RK announces the mahurat of his film in two days. The bank needs proof that a film is indeed being made and it all depends on finding the heroine - logic ki MC BC ho rahi hai but then they need some crisis to make Madhu the heroine 🤔 I will ignore the clunk if it means getting rid of this new heroine's mother sooner than later.

The romance today was cute 😛 The back and forth was fun but then it all ended with a whimper Red hot Rishbala on the red hot couch and all we get is 'goodnight' and 'sweet dreams' 😡 At least they can be shown leaning in for a kiss 🥺

Paabho is trying her best to convince herself that she is not getting jealous of Madhu 😆 Radhaji ne jale pe aur namak daal diya! Radhaji muah 🤗 I wonder how Paabho thinks the 4-phera wedding and the unwedding are Madhu's mistakes? Yeah Sultan was her mistake totally but the way the story is being set up now, the audience is firmly on Madhu's side and willing to overlook her part in the whole fiasco. Applause to the CVs for undoing the damage to Madhu's character so quickly 👏

OK, filler type of episode...

Good points:

RM romance..nok-jhok...always a pleasure to watch, though today was tamer than other days. But, we are getting our daily vitamin RM 😳. Their scenes are very typical of a newly married couple...entirely believable
Rji firmly on Madhu's side...willing to answer back to her revered sister. her sister who obviously thinks she has more rights on RK than anybody else. Here is the typical saas..

So so points:

Entire clunk around arranging for finances. Bank manager to attend muhurat before giving up cheque? Ha ha ha...too funny. Do the writers sometimes write in their sleep??
Poor heroine..she was funny, makes the right faces😆..heroine ki ma.. less said the better
Pabho seems to be against Madhu despite a grudging affection that's trying to creep in. It seems more about possessiveness than concern.

what is the guarantee that if the mahurat of the film is done and they find a heroine, the film will be completed & released? and it will be a hit? half of the films are shelved midway... bank is concerned with none ! they r concerned with their money & they're getting the security so there should be no issues in approval of the loan...

Ofcourse she can and she has...

Firstly, it is a case of jo log sheeshon ke ghar mein rehte hain woh dusron par patthar phenka nahi karte..

Radhaji and RK have flaws and they are very much party to the fiascos.. so a flawed person generally tends to look at oneself and hence blames himself/herself for it... For radhaji, Madhu is a person who made RK a better person and filled his life with happiness and hence she will be eternally grateful to her..

Infact even during divorce time, Radha went and scolded RK only saying how can you let her walk out of your life when the divorce was something that was Madhus doing... It is about seeing from Radha's perspective...

As for the CV's trying to erase all her faults, I don't think it has worked with (*cough cough) and it will not work for any character be it RK/Madhu/Radha/Paabo...

and general human tendency is to reject something that is forced on us😃

when a piece of writing is viewed, the storytellers should let the audience judge their characters and their actions- good, bad,etc and each one will have different perceptions .. That is why it is called an art... Their work is only to show their vision of the events in the life of their characters, their action, reactions, their psychological state of mind, learning graph etc,etc...

Loved RM moments today..rishbala in each others arms..😳

Pabho n radhaji convo..she came to know the happenings and she is blaming madhu for all of it..RK is also responsible for 4 phere marraige and the unwedding..i really hoped radhaji to make out that point but she told it atlast..i didnt like it

she dont want rishu life in further distress n wants to clear all that..ohh maaji everything was clear until u came need not worry about it 😕

rest of the epi was normal nothing much to say..

PRECAP: VD is back with his scarf..omg deadlyy hot ❤️ ❤️ reminded me of ganesh utsav times 😳 love u VD

A good enough episode.😊
Loved the Rishbala scenes, though they need to start hinting that these two are doing more than sleeping.😕😆😳
Can rewatch their entire scene several times over.

But the only problem is that the rest of the episode was nowhere even remotely in the same league.

The set-related scenes were not particularly interesting, and Roma and the new girl's mother are competing for most irritating.🥱
Mehul Chopra is less irritating so long as he doesn't go trying to be in charge and overshadow the leads as if he has any standing that would help the film. And so long as the promo showing only Madhu and Mehul airs (with RK almost absent), it's good enough reason to avoid the episodes in first-telecast for fear of some other excruciating plot-shenanigan. Waited too damn long for RK to finally make Madhu a star (since the promotion from before this dratted series began), and having an intrusive third person inserted in that is unbearable.😡😭
Pabbho had better help with the TRP. I'm really not fond of kundali-jinx tracks, and that old man was unforgivable in revealing anything to Balraj and giving him actual reason to want Madhu dead.☢️ Now having Pabbho talk of kundalis is more in the same vein.
We have not had even one character in the past several months that has avoided being an encumbrance, and there may be such a thing as near-allergic levels of hindrance-surfeit.🤢

Radha is an idiot. Her defending Madhu doesn't make up for her having gone and apparently told Pabbho all or most or even a fraction of the couple's activities. Madhu didn't need to be defended, she needed her mother-in-law (who has a standing record of almost always keeping quiet when she needs to speak) to keep quiet in this one matter.

All the points supposed to show how difficult RK's professional situation is are frigging unbelievable.
And then we had the 'putting up his own house as if he has no other property' clunk *exceeded* by the totally slegehammering clunk of the bank (which has agreed to loan money with security in hand) now wanting to see the film get started.😕
Why the heck would they care when or if the film starts?
If the loan isn't repaid on time, then they'll take action.
Whether the loan is repaid via the film or by RK winning a lottery at the last moment is of no interest to the bank.
This has to be probably the most absolutely relaxing sort of supposed financial urgency or concern portrayed in a series - it's like a series of announcements that none of this matters and we can ignore these scenes because it's all just build-up.
