When? Well in the scene she literally made herself seem crazy. She was going on and on for days about how Sultan's alive and then suddenly she tells her mother that Sultan's been dead all along?!
I honestly thought Madhu believed that Sultan was dead and she was just imagining him all along. I thought she thought she was hallucinating those divorce papers.
Or that she was in denial and was trying to talk herself out of everything that's happened over the past few days or was trying to convince herself that he's dead.
Or that Sultan was really dead and the CVs had us hallucinating with Madhu.
She scared me. When I saw the scene, I was like...
I'm kidding, I was actually just more like this...
It makes me sad that she's going in the opposite direction she should be. I understand, she has no other choice or else they might really think she's crazy and send her to a mental asylum. But I wish she would be able to convince at least one of them. I mean, how did she know that something was going to happen to RK at a certain time in jail? She even said that Sultan said he'd do something to RK! I'm surprised no one still believes her! I feel bad for her...
But she like actually surprised me today and I got confused for a moment, then I realized that she was just trying to protect RK by telling Padmini that Sultan's really dead. She doesn't want anyone to know about what's happening to her. Right? Or am I just wrong ahah.
Either way, Drashti did a wonderful job in that scene! It looked so real. As though she was really trying to convince her character, Madhu, that Sultan is dead.
