Take the very benign Oxford dictionary definition of a villain - a character whose evil actions or motives are important to the plot. So what part do some people really have a problem with? Disagreement on the evil part? Everyone has their own moral compass, and to each their own I guess.

Any way, as far as I am concerned, the last couple of weeks have confirmed in my mind that Sultan is an out and out villain in the show. CVs may backtrack, or give a sob story to justify the actions, but those repugnant visual images from this week and last will be impossible to erase from my head.

At the end of the day, it is a show with actors playing different characters - heroic or villainous or wimpy jokers or whatever. No question in my mind though who the hero on this show is.
