I am sure there are various point of views amongst us but to me villain is an attitude which commands a grudging respect from the audience.

Since the whole thread consists of more or less same question as to why criticism is not allowed, I believe we all are talking about constructive criticism. Hence I'd like to clarify here on the behalf of MBEIEJ DT that any constructive criticism for any characters be it Villain or Hero is allowed and you're welcome to discuss and speculate things on the character abiding the rules of the forum.

Additionally there is always a thin line between criticism and bashing. I am not implying saying that critique only needs to be saying positive words, negative comments which are free from hurling curses, name calling, harsh comments, abusive terms are more then welcome. May be we all can agree on this that discussion often take vigorous turn when there are two opposite views trying to demean each other just to make one's point worth high than the other. I believe the least we all can do is " Agree to Disagree" and respect contrary opinions.

Having said that and this post on being as to why criticism is not allowed, I'd sincerely request all the members here who belive that mods are being ruthless on closing specific topic which was a criticism or could have led to constructive criticism to just self reflect on the thread that has been closed from yesterday (as mentioned) and if there was any topic that did not violate rules ( name calling, mocking, pinpointing contrary fan bases, personal attack, bashing) and was only criticising characters be it negative or positive, to flag it up to the DT. And we assure you that it will be open as per your demand.

Ps I appreciate the TM efforts on flagging this issue in an appropriate way.
