There was not an element of romance in that scene. Hugging always not mean romance. They just got married. A lot is happening in their life. I liked that scene very much husband smiles after hearing wife name and showing to her dont worry dear I m fine and even wife trying to show that she is strong n will fight for her husband. I am an indian audience and I loved it. Anyways slap on VD haters,he won BEST ACTOR CRITIC.

I guess the problem is more to do with the person Madhu was hugging. Now if she had been hugging that gangu, there would have been essays and thesis written by now by great minds and the post would have gone to 10+ pages appreciating the elusive chemistry, the perfect scene, the understanding, the respect in the eyes and blah blah blah.
