Part 11

The next day Madhu was surprised to see a bunch of red roses on her desk. She thought who could have kept them. She was looking them in her hand when she was suddenly startled with Mukund's voice, "Inhe maine rakha hai."

Madhu turned to him and found him smiling sweetly.

Mu- Kal tumne mera saara kaam kar diya aur to aur aajke bhi saare appointments aur files review kar diye. Isliye main tumhe thanks kehna chahta tha. Ayr mere thanks kehne ka tarika yeh hai. Tmhe accha toh laga na?

Ma- Ofcourse! Mujhe to flowers bohot pasand hai aur roses bohot hi jyada.

Mu- Thank you so much Madhu!!

Madhu smiled at him and Mukund smiled back.

RK noticed them smiling at each other and anger dawned upon him. He came near them and spoke in a serious tone, "Lagta hai aap dono ka saara kaam ho gaya hai isliye aap itne khush hai."

Mu- Sorry Chief.

RK- Get back to work.

Now things started to change for Madhu. Everyday she used to find a bunch of roses in her desk and no doubtedly it was kept by Mukund. Slowly they became very close friends which was not liked by RK.

One day when Madhu was about to go home, she was stopped by Mukund.

Mu- Madhu, kya tumhe ghar par koi jaroori kaam hai?

Ma- Nahi to, Kyun?

Mu- Who mujhe tumse kuch kaam tha.

Ma- Kya kaam hai Mukund kaho na?

Mu- Kyat um mere saath aaj dinner pe chalogi?

Madhu was a bit surprised but she knew that Mukund was a decent guy so she said, "OK"

Mu- Phir main tumhe tumhare ghar pick karne 8 baje aa jaunga.

Madhu smiled and said, "Thik hai. Ab main chalti. Bye."

Mu- Bye

Madhu reached home and told Padmini, "Maa aaj mere liye khana mat banana kyunki main aaj apne ek dost ke saath dinner pe jaa rahi hoon.

P- Thik hai. Pata hai Trishu ko apne boss ke saath kuch dino ke liye bahar jaana padega. Ek hafte baad lautegi.

M- Accha? Kaha jaa rahi hai?

P- Bhopal. Pata nahi koi business tour pe jaa rahi hai.

M- oh. Thik hai maa main taiyaar ho jaati hoon.

At 8PM

Madhu came out of the chawl as soon as she heard the horn of a car. She wore a beautiful red anarkali with matching jewellaries. She was looking stunning.

When Mukund saw her he was just dumbstruck. He had never seen such a beautiful woman in his life. As Madhu came near him he gave her a bunch of red roses. Madhu smiled at him. He opened the door of the Passenger's seat and himself sat in the driver's seat.

Ma- Mujhe to aaisa lag raha hai ki main apne lover ke saath date pe jaa rahi hoon.

Mu- Kuch aaisa hi soch lo.

Ma- Kya?

Mu- Kuch nahi.

He played the music system and this song played :

Soon they reached a restaurant. It was big and costly one. Mukund opened the door for Madhu and gave his hand to her. Both entered the restaurant and sat on the terrace area. It was completely vacant except for both of them. A soft music was played. They ordered their food and were told that it would take some time.

Suddenly Mukund stood up and said, "Madhu, ab main jo kuch bhi kahunga tum chup chap sunna. Meri baat poori hone ke baad hi kuch kehna….Madhu jab maine tumhe pehli baar dekha tha, main tumse apni nazre nahi hata saka. Tumhari yeh aankhe, in ankho mein sabke liye pyaar aur khusi ki chamak, tumhara yeh sharmana, tumhari yeh madhosh kar dene wali hasi, yeh sab kuch mujhe pagal bana deti hai. Aur tumhara yeh pyaar bhara dil, isne to mujhe deewana bana diya. Tumhari har adaa ka main deewana hoon. Tumne mujhe itna badal diya….tumse pyaar kjarne par majboor kar diya…Main pyaar mein viswas to nahi rakhta par jo bhi hai yeh….bohot accha hai….main tumhare saath apni poori zindagi bitana chahta hoon….will you marry me?"
