Part 5
Madhu and the man went out of the station and came to a busy road. Before Madhu could see the man's face, he covered his face with his handkerchief. The only thing Madhu could see was his blue eyes which made her a bit scared. The man told Madhu, " Aap apni maa ya didi ko phn karke yaha aane ko kahiye."
M- Mere paas phone nahi hai, maa ke paas hai.
He gave a sigh and said, " Aap mere phone se phone kar lijiye. Jaldi." And he gave his phone.
Madhu called Padmini. Padmini, seeing an unknown number received the call with a question mark on her face.
P- Hello?
M- Ma, main Madhu.
P- Madhu?? Kaha hai tu? Aur kaha se phone kar rahi hai tu?
M – Ma main station ke bahar khadi hun, ek cake shop ke samne. Tu yehi chali aa jaldi se .
P – Thik hai tu wahi ruk main abhi aayi.
Madhu turned to the man and spoke, "Thank you very much. Agar aaj aap nahi hote to pata nahi kya hota. Yeh lijiye aapka phone."
Man – Your welcome. Ab aap yaha rukiye jab tak apki maa nahi aa jati. Kahi chali mat jayiyega.
M – Agar aap meri maa ke aa jane tak ruk jate to a66a hota…..akele jagh par akeli ladki….aapko to pata hai na…
Man – Thik hai. Bas aapki maa ke aa jane tak.
Padmini and Trishna came out of the station and searched for Madhu. Finally they found har in front of a cake shop told by Madhu. Padmini rushed and hugged Madhu and said, " Tu kya karti hain Madhu? Kahi bhi chali jati hai? Tujhe pata hai hum kitne pareshaan the?? Aur tune phone kaha se kia tha?"
M – Maa…maa, shant ho jaa. Ab main mil gayi hoon na? Aur phone maine inke phone se……"
Saying this she turned to show tha man to Padmini to her surprise the man was not there. He had left. Padmini asked, "Kinke phone se Madhu?"
Madhu narrated the whole story. Then she said, " Maine unse yaha thodi der rukne ko kaha tha taki main unhe tujhse milwa saku. Pata nahi kaha chale gaye."
T – Kahi bhi gaye ho. Tu ab chal. Hamesha bari bari baate karna aata hai par apna dhyan rakhna nahi aata. Pata nahi tu yaha job kaise karegi. Maa, Madhu ke waje se vaise hi kaafi deri ho chuki hai, ab aur nahi.
P – Ha chal. Chal Madhu.
T – Aur madam iss bar pls maa ka hat mat chorna. Anjan sahar pata nahi kaise kaise log hai. Kuch bhi ho sakta hai. Issliye maa ka hat kas ke pakar ke rakhna.
M – (in a low voice)- thik hai didu.
At Rk Mansion
RK came out of the shower. Water droplets falling from his body made him look damn hot. He came near his wardrobe and took out a white shirt to wear. Around 8:30AM he came down in a white shirt and deep blue pants.
Bittuji was busy in phone. After hanging the call he looked for his chief. He was completely shocked to see his chief in a such simple dress, as his chief liked to wear much more dressy outfits. RK understood the matter and said, "Bittuji, iss tarah se mat dekhiye, mujhe aapki najar lag jayegi. Aur rahi baat iss dress kit oh Bhatiyas ke saath meeting mere liya bas thora relaxing time hai kyunki unki bakwaas ka koi value nahi hai. Chaliye."
Suddenly a female voice from behind said, "Rishu beta, khana taiyaar hai, breakfast karke jao."
RK – Bittuji iss aurat se keh dijiye ki yeh meri chinta karneki acting na kare kyunki inhe acting nahi aati. Chaliye.
The female was none other than RK's step mother Meera Kundra, second wife of Mohan Kundra. Mohan married her after the death of Radha to take care of RK but RK did not accept her as his mother.
RK and Bittuji left for office. In the meeting hall everyone was waiting for RK. Once he entered the hall, there was perfect silence. Bittuji asked Sikander, Kukku Bhatiya's son to proceed. Sikander elaborated there business plans. When he completed he looked at RK for his opinion. But he was shocked to find RK with his earphones. Bittuji and others were also surprised. Bittuji pushed RK a little and said, "Chief??"
RK took off his earphones and said, " Kya hua? Bhatiya ki bakwaas khatam ho gaya? Cool!! Bittuji main apne cabin mein jar aha hoon. Aap inke papers wahi bhijwa dijiyega. Thank you everyone." Saying this he left for his cabin.
When he approached towards the lift he found his right hand, Mukund, busy in some files. He came near him and asked, "Mukund, saare files thik se check karna koi bhi galti nahi honi chahiye." Mukund stood in a hurried way and said, "Ji Chief, aap bilkul tension mat lijiye, Main koi galti hone hi nahi dunga."
RK – Waise maine tumse kaha tha ki mujhe office ke liye ek personal assistant chahiye, uska kya hua?
Mu – Chief, maine kal interview rakhwai hai, aap khud jach lijiyega.
RK – Good. Carry on.
RK went in his cabim. He turned aand looked at a photo kept on his side cabinet. His eyes looked a bit teary. He said, " Maa, aap kyun mujhe yaha chorkar chali gayi? Mujhe nahi a66a lagta hai yaha akele. Koi nahi hai yaha jo meri iss ghisi- piti zindagi mein thoda sa pyar thodi si khushiyan la sake." He sat with the photo in his hand.
So this was our RK. Arrogant, self confident, egoistic,proud but still had a soft corner in his heart which had the emotions of love, loneliness, feelings. An slight mad but sad RK……..
