I am writing this post on request by ArabellaPearl, she wanted me to put my thoughts forward regarding the current track, that is the pain which has been inflicted on multiple characters by one disastrous revelation. So, here it goes: š
Though I despise the current track because of poor writing, lack of creativity and sense, I nevertheless thought of analyzing the scenario without noticing the absence of logic from the show. š¤
Mk was a two-timer. He married MJ secretly and then ditched her. Got married to RJ for money and social status. Snatched MJ's baby and gave it to someone else which drove MJ crazy. He later confessed to RJ about his first marriage. RJ hid the secret all these years and now Sultan has come to bring the truth in the open. This is what we know so far.
With this revelation, there is one thing for sure that there will be no winners. It brings pain for everyone. So, though the pain binds them all, it may not be the same for everyone at this point of time.
For RJ, obviously it must have been really painful to get married to such a man. No one can deny that. However, she got closure once MK confessed it all in front of her. Here, I have to admit it must have been a great ordeal for her to keep such a man in such high regard for her son. I believe that gradually her pain turned into guilt for keeping it a secret from RK and involuntarily destroying MJ's life. However, in the later years, especially now that she has connected with her son, it's high time for her to confess it all, considering the current scenario. This way she will be able to let go of this guilt. But, instead of being brave, she chose to be selfish and confided in Madhu, who shouldn't have been involved in the first place. So, now whatever Madhu does, that is if she tells RK or not, she will end up being the bad guy.
For MJ, she suffered a lot because of her reckless decision to secretly marry a man who was a casanova by reputation without thinking of the repercussions. But she suffered more than enough for that, there is no argument on that. However, I feel now her pain is nearing its end. She is getting her son back and soon, the truth will be out. So, this is the time she is getting closure.
For Sultan, though I find it really difficult to connect with his character because of his character development, I can acknowledge that he has been wronged. He had no sense of family all his life. Here, I would like to point out that despite the fact that he didn't have many necessities of life growing up, his foster mother's selfless act of getting killed for him gave a lot to his character. That is the height of selfless and unconditional love , anyone can ever get. So, though he suffered, this is time for his closure now. He just got a big chunk of truth regarding his roots and a mother. So, this may help him in letting go of pain.
Now, his actions, his fight for his mother's rights and self respect is altogether a different topic that I won't discuss in this post as this is already a very long post and I have one very important character's pain to analyze. I think you know whom I am talking about š
For RK, in my opinion, I feel that his pain is more than that of any other character in the story right now. This maybe open for debate but this is how I feel and I will tell you why. I and other RK fans, sympathize with him the most as we have known him the longest. We have not only known him but we have seen his entire journey as a character, we have seen him as a ruthless man, a soft-hearted person, as a man so egotistical that he shunned his own feelings for his pride. We have seen him in all phases, and loved him and hated him accordingly, so we connect with him. In all these phases, there was one component of his life that held him together and it was his father. Even when he was his darkest self, he idolized his father. In fact, his father has always been an anchor for him that kept his more human side alive.
RK is a person who never trusted anyone and for good reasons if you see from his point of view and now that he is finally opening himself to trust others, the one thing that held him together will turn out nothing but an illusion.
Also, I might add there is no closure to move on for RK after this revelation. RK is not as mature emotionally as any other character because of the sudden changes that occurred in his life when he was young, which he faced by isolating himself from everyone and making walls within himself. He always blamed himself for his father's suicide. Yes, he will get the closure that it was never his fault, however, the actual truth is much more horrifying for him. Because at least when he was blaming himself, his father's image and character was still dignified and intact in front of him. In fact, you can say that in a way when he was taking the blame for his suicide it was actually the denial that his father can't be weak or wrong, it was him who couldn't do anything to help his father.
So, the closure in actual, itself is grief and betrayal for him. That won't do much good for him.
P.S Sorry for such a long post. I know many people won't read this post, so I thank anyone who will read it. This is entirely my opinion, I am not trying to force it on anyone nor I can. Please no need to bash anyone. š
