The above quote by Mikhhail Baryshnikov is what comes to mind after watching, Drashti Dhami and Salman Yusuff Khan perform for 'family week special' on Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa Season 6 tonight.
Yes, you have heard it right Drashti scored her first perfect 30 for her performance tonight. Drashti chose to dedicate this performance to her brother Jaisheel Dhami who has already been seen shaking a leg with his better half Suhasi Dhami in Nach Baliye this year. Both Drashti's brother and mom came to support Drashti. With a perfect dance form chosen, which was Ariel /Acrobatics and a song full of emotions 'Hum Rahe Ya Na Rahe Kal'. Drashti danced her way into scoring her first perfect 30. Pulling off some very difficult and nail biting stunts to make this all possible.
All judges; Madhuri Dixit, Remo Dsouza, Karan Johar including this week's special guest Vidya Balan were in praise for Drashti and Salman's performance. Drashti and Salman got their much awaited 'This is super duper hit, Maardala and blockbuster/batameez' comments from all three judges. Salman and Drashti left the Judges, audience awestruck.
Despite having a busy schedule Drashti is managing both Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon were she portrays the character of Madhubala and Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa very well. Ace choreographer Salman Yusuff Khan is putting in his 100% to bringing the best out in Drashti, so kudos to him. Fans of both Drashti and Salman are showing immense support via voting for the power packed jodi, as well as are supporting Drashti and Salman's motto for this season which is 'We are in it, to win it'.
Scoring her first perfect 30 does not mean Drashti – Salman can take it easy, competition is getting tough with the likes of Lauren-Puneet scoring a perfect 30 for almost every performance and Shaan – Marischa are not far behind, with Shaan displaying leaps and bounds of improvement by each performance. Do not forget to tune into Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm, on Colors TV.
