^ I think that's why some get so worked up whenever the word abusive is used to describe him. It has to be acknowledged on some level, and it must irk lol

When it comes to abuse the 3rd point is the most important one. there is always a pattern.

This abuse starts from childhood, according to Radhaji, RK was a good boy and would not hurt anyone

If there was such case Deepali would have mentioned that he was emotionally abusive with her.

He did admit it if you have seen the wedding episode, where he clearly said that he had been emotionally abusive to her and gave her immense pain, why because of his ego. He did not even realized when he fell in love with her. When he told the whole media their hate and love story.

Sultan was just a catalyst to make RK realize what he did with Madhu was wrong and he could lose her to other man.

If RK is bad, to me Sultan is as bad. Why I don't consider Sultan as an option because of his profession.

Even if Sultan leaves the gangster world, but that world won't leave him. Once you enter a gang or become a gangster, you leave in a body bag.

Sultan did not just become don by being goody goody, he has lots of blood in his hands. Just to reach where he is now.

Will blame that Kaka who let him become a gangster in the 1st place.

Congrats, Charishma. You've become a Goldie. I would say it elsewhere, but I think this topic is what propelled you to this level. :)

@sunflower: Sorry I don't know your name

Pattern of abuse refers to pattern of abuse within that particular relationship. Like was it an isolated incident, or does he make a habit of it? Just because he wasn't abusive in past relationships doesn't mean he can't be abusive in the current one.

I thought RK said that he'd hurt her a lot. He actually said "emotionally abusive". Are you sure? I don't remember that. But then again I do watch those scenes with one eye only lol

I dislike Sultan being a catalyst, because it goes against what I believe to be love. I see a need to possess, but is there a need to make her happy? I don't beleive in RK's love for Madhu because it hasn't been written in a convincing way for me. Just wait and watch I guess. We'll get plenty of opportunity to see him put his words into action soon enough.

When I say abuse is never isolated and there is always a pattern and past incidents. That indicates that they are abusive.

You see this abuse starts with childhood. They always prey on weak and are extremely intelligent with paranoia. Even more then RK intelligence. I am talking about IQ of above 180.

As a child they will kill small animals and wont feel remorse. Torture those poor animals. Usually these go un notice by parents or the parents are abusive that makes the child repeat what they see growing up.

So I am telling you RK and Madhu are not in what you would call really abusive relationship.

Sunflower, you're talking about psychopaths. There is a huge amount of grey area between a psychopathic serial killer (the likes of J Dahmer) and an abusive person. Although RK's lack of empathy is indicative of more serious psychological issues, lets leave that aside for a bit.

I am not saying RK is a killer, or an angry aggressive man out for blood or a brawl. I am saying he is emotionally abusive towards Madhu (within their relationship). And there is an established pattern of abuse between the two of them. As for his past relationships, we don't know if he was like this in any of them. Even if he wasn't, that hardly matters.

Do you remember the scene where he admits to being emotionally abusive though? Or was that just him saying sorry for all the pain he caused her?
