Mony...the issue is they could have shown trapping those goons by himself getting trapped somewhere...but they had to involve madhu somehow saving a kid so as to get close to the kid and also impress sultan... As they saytheytook creative liberty with the introduction scene.

agree and one of the reason may be he wanted aryan to be mentally strong ,ready to face any consequences in life since he thought he may die at anytime ,so aryan must be able to take care of himself and not fall weak ...
we can see sultan softened towards aryan after he fell for madhu 😳 when he was sure there is someone for aryan after his death also ...and especially after he took promise from her to take care of him 😳after him he changed a lot...
