I sooo agree wid u !!!! MEIEJ is all about RK's ishq and RK's junoon !! He's the TRP of the show and NO ONE can deny that ..
And I rightly believe had it been someone else in place of him , this show wouldn't have worked half of what it is today!!!

totally agree vd u its RK d character vch z so well written dat drives d show...its unique unpredictable has different layers he z grey yet very lovable.. n kudos to VD 4 getting into d skin of d character his dialogue delivery adds d charm d show needed!!!

even d show's title is RK's stance on his love "madhubala his ishq n his junoon"... its his dialogue!!!

n to compliment dat v hv andr well written charc Madhubala..she hs her own ways not like regular heroins..she hs her priorities set..mre human... n DD hs done full justice to it!!

so RK z spice to d show!!!
n Rishabala chemistry z d backbone!!!!

Yes I agree with you. Although most people think that the show is named after madhubala, so, she is the ONLY lead. But I totally disagree with them (but respect their views as well). So, yes for me, it's RK's character which makes the show so different from others.

totally agree with you the show's always been about RK, his 'Junoon' for MB and her Ishq for him. it's hilarious that there are fangirls spreading this idea around that MB owns the show and it's about her career into the film fraternity, why bother calling it "Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" then ? who exactly is she going to be doing the ishq and junoon with, herself ? 🤣 RK's the USP and face of the show, as well as the X factor that keeps people coming back for more. He's the entertainment factor even during bad tracks, and if MB's the heart of the show RK's the soul. This show really is about RIshbala and only Rishbala, and that's what it's always been sold as.
