True this show has revolved round rk and his abuse of madhu. A nice neat line under a chapter in this story of abuse, mostly unchecked, coinciding nicely with the completion of 1 year of the show.
However, now there is a new man in town...so to speak and a new chapter beginning, foundations already laid very carefully. The fact that he is a parallel lead annouced by the head of the PH himself. TRPs holding steady not rising even though rk has supposedly changed for the better. And...4 days before the wedding Colors running a poll asking viewers if they want to see sultan-madhu hook up...a poll that won by a HUGE majority.

Sultan defo here to stay and the VERY HIGH CHANCE of the coming year focusing oh his character development! No need to worry tho...rk will always be rk and in the show. He will always be up to something and it will always be no good... unless doing good serves some longer term plan of his to do bad.

This show is also unique because of the story revolving around Madhubala as well, I will come to RK later, but Madhu imagine in all other serials you don't see the female lead being the one that has someone else in love with her at the same time. Other shows have the male lead having a previous girlfriend before marriage, but here we have a story of an incomplete marriage (that's different), deceived in love and heartbroken, then the guy realises his foolishness and they get back together. Now we are all wondering how the CV's will play out the wedding will it happen, or not, what's coming up in the story, so I think the story is the unique part of the show.

For me the concept of the show was unique .

I like RK who is a normal flawed human being. They are more interesting watch rather then those goody goody guys.

The Sultan - Madhu won the poll because there you could vote again and again. So that was a bogus poll done by colours.

@Radhi - they tried many things with Sultan like gold plating, sob story, love triangle, getting his wife etc but nothing worked 😆
