This is getting real fun.

The saasifiication of MB

Radha takes a vacation with her buddies from lamp and wick and stay with me honey. Armed with fresh ideas she decides Madhu ain't all that and Dips was awesome all along.

Episode 3

First half

Sultan Padmini romance 😳

Second half

Radha asks Madhu to do some complicated pooja that no one's performed in the last 100 years. Madhu messes up - Radha gives a long lecture on sanskar and dharohar to Madhu while RK looks from Radha to Madhu (because he's been hanging out with lamp and wick and stay with me honey and imbibed their TRP winning qualities).

A Sultan and Padmini romance would be Gauti's chance at redeeming himself. His misogyny is becoming more and more glaring with every passing show. And in MB he's outdone himself by showing a twisted tale of co-dependency between an abusive man and a delusional woman.

These TV show makers do not understand the damage they do by trying to pretend that celebrating abusive relationships is all kosher. And wonder of wonders -the show is produced by a woman - Anuradha Prasad - who'd be horrified if someone suggested to her that she's glorifying violence against women. That's the extent of cognitive disconnect here.
