A desperate Dipali to get back at Madhu casting the bait before the most likely ones who might take it, Padmini and Trishna...Though Padmini is guarded an cautious, its Trishna who takes the bait and lets the cat out the bag...This gives Dipali and opportunity to fill them with a sense of foreboding with her wily and instigating words...After this it becomes clear what induces Padmini to seek Sultan's help...
A desperate Madhu oscillating between the call of her heart and her mind...how she seems disturbed and preoccupied by this bipolarity of emotions that she is going through...RK's sincerity and his desperate need to redeem himself is adding on to her guilt...Guilt of what she is contemplating to do to him...
A desperate RK unable to hold on a secret from Madhu shows her the pleasant surprise he has for her : "That's how you know you love someone, I guess, when you can't experience anything without wishing the other person were there to see it, too." (kaui Hart Hemmings)...This very gesture of RK indicates that this time round he is sincere about redeeming himself and make and do everything as per Madhu's wishes...so this time round he doesn't give her an imaginative picture of their "dream home" but something concrete and real...something for which even his laborious effort is also involved...

An Madhu overwhelmed with the abundance display of affection from RK and his wanting to keep his scars unhealed as a reminder of all that he did to Madhu in the past, can't bear to see him in pain and demands an explanation to all his redeeming acts...this one is an indication enough that it's not in Madhu to avenge herself now that she has been assured about RK's sincerity and redemption...
---- Must say every episode of Madhubala though reveals one thing, yet raises another doubt in mind...so once again we are left with playing the guessing game...
---- Another appreciative feature of MB team is that they stick to their track irrespective of the pressure from various factions of fans, namely the opposing fanatic fans of RK and Sultan...
---- An adept ensemble of cast : SM perfect as Dipali; AP as the dicey Trishna; PP as the ever suffering Padmini (portraying this character with conviction is certainly not easy as one has first to be convinced about it)...VD has become synonymous with RK and of course the amazing one liners...DD, only she and she can do justice to the role of Madhubala, can't conceptualize anyone else but her...
