I think that was for his wife. I think he is implied to be Muslim by birth though not practice, which is why he said he said what he did at the Dargah about not believing in God. Not that it matters much, and generally the underworld in Bollywood is portrayed as eclectic.

Darghahs though are open to general public and people of all faiths go there, not just Muslims. That's not just in serials, but it's reality.

OMG really episode was rocking one side loudness , other side calm , hidden love, Actually Today episode again contrast of two, if watch as unbiased you will enjoy more, I was actually not feeling anything special fo true love feeling in RK wala love but just Laughing more on his act it was funny but young girl like this kind propose I am not from them n Sultaan realization in divine place the feel it was more prominent for me loved dargah scene wow loved it loved it alot, OMG he is so strait FF can't hide,I loved the episode, he was looking very sweet, MAdhu said tumhe muskarana bhi ata hai wowowowo lovely scene , he will heart broken , but me little selfish here atleast we got Sweet scene

oh no.. it doesn't matter at all.

although Merry, he is a muslim. apart from his name itself, that string of beads that hangs on his rear view mirror, I had seen that in one of my friend's car who is a muslim.

yeh , I love the portrayal of dargah's and sufi songs in romances..for me, it enhances the essence of love, and isnt about god or the kind of god. its only about the divinity of love..

yeh I know , non muslims are allowed at dargahs. I had visited haaji-ali in mumbai long back , and loved it:)

My feelings exactly Nina ...

God ... I was holding my breath .. watching Sultan in the Dargah ...

he was fabulous there ... his admission that he only blamed the Almighty for taking away his mother and wife .. and then simply asking Him to give him an answer ... such a display of faith and humility ! 👏

Sighhh ... how much purer can feelings get !!!!

And the other display ... 😳 ... I dont even want to talk about that ... couldn't see the slightest trace of "love" there ... and that smirk on the face .. ... talk about arrogance and conceit ...

as for the public declaration, she may have asked for it.. but the whole shebang, the loud poster, his servants laying the flower bed , handing him the basket.. nah, Hes still an arrogant jerk.. how can such histrionics erase what he has done with her? its plain drama. and so annoying.

i think i may have to skip the rest of the week episode-wise.. lol cause M is obviously going to accept and then.. urgh, i can see a migraine approaching.:(

thats reasonable. But he is not much a believer whether he is hindu or Muslim. All the horrible things happened to him; he doesnt believe in god .

You have put it so beautifully Nina.

Though I thought I wouldn't like the episode after reading the update but it was pleasing to the eye and the ear.

The dargah scene was so beautifully shot and the BG music was equally divine.

Loved the episode all in all except ott drama and buffoonery.

i would like to imagine so.. although he did visit the dargah, and talk to 'him'..

Love does strange things Mer, makes strange converts;).. then it does not matter if you believe in the supreme being or not. In fact it should never matter if you believe he exits or not.. That shouldn't be the primary concern.

Like here, I don't care whether he believes in him or not.. I care that he is a beautiful man, who has lost, and struggled and fought, is scarred.. and today he found one moment which made him feel truly happy, made him desire, made him shy and fumbling, made him smile.

made him share a dream with his 8 year old son..

call it love, call it god.. call it anything.. it remains beautiful.
