I've received a few PMs and requests to write a complete FF from RK's pov for Dark Ties...but I don't plan on doing that. I'm sorry! But don't worry! I'll be coming back with a new FF once Dark Ties is complete. I got a request for a FF with a certain concept, but I decided that'll replace Breakthrough. This FF below is a random concept that came to mind and will be replacing Dark Ties. I hope you all like it! :)
Prologue
I glanced down at my watch.
"5...4...3...2...1..."
I heard the doorbell ring as the clock struck midnight. I dropped everything and ran. I ran as though my life depended on the person behind the door.
I heard my name being called from behind, but I ignored her voice. Everything she had just told me was a lie. Everything.
I came to a stop in front of the door and took in a deep breath. Then with the flick of a lock, I slowly turned the doorknob. There he stood, looking just as he had the night before, and the night before that. I felt an eerie chill rippling along my skin as I stared up at him.
"RK..."
"How was your day Biwi?"
He asked the same question he had the night before, and the night before that. I didn't respond. I looked up at his face and saw the usual smirk, which managed to always take my breath away. Then with a final look at his face, I pushed myself into his arms. I felt his warm, comforting arms wrap around me in response and I suddenly felt at peace.
Then her voice interrupted from behind.
"Madhu?!"
I instantly pulled out of his arms and turned to see her face, which had gone white with fear. While staring at her fear-stricken face, I spoke in a stern voice.
"RK is my husband. He always will be my husband. You can't take that away from me. Never."
