Sultan isnt the perfect of a person and has his own share of mistakes, agreed. He is learning to be a good dad but from Aryan's pov he is a perfect dad. As per u, Sultan should say "beta iam not a good dad" but will Aryan agree to it? He will ask "why ru not?" Sultan wouldve to respond "i made u a bait" Aryan would then respond "but that was for me to be strong" so on so forth. There is no way Sultan can convince Aryan that he isnt a good dad even though he knows he isnt a perfect dad YET. For that matter no one is perfect in what they do. Ppl learn from experiences and Sultan is learning too not ignoring the fact that he isnt as good as he should be. We should give him credit where he deserves.

Also the comparison was between RK and Sultan as men and their rapo with Madhu. Sultan obv couldnt say he was not better than RK in that respect because we all have to admit Sultan is way better a human than RK and way better in treating Madhu than what RK does.

No, a child shouldn't support their parents if they think they are wrong. And I agree that Sultan was not a good father. Putting him as bait and trying to make him into an adult before his age was not correct. But he understood when madhu explained to him. he is a changed man now.

When he put him as bait, he knew that no harm would come to him. He trusted him implicitly. Now that doesn't make the action right, but there was trust in spite of the wrong. .May be aryan also sees the golden heart beneath the tough exterior?

No I understand why Aryan loves his Dad, and even say that he's 'good'. But Sultan should have corrected him !!

The risk here, is as you said Aryan idiolises his father, so will tend to follow his path and to become a gangster as well !

Seeing only the good of person and saying he's a good person is different accoding to me !

If my Dad was a gangter, I would love him, I would justify him but won't say he's good or he's right !

Of course one should never support a wrong! But when you have woman aged like 60 (radha) gloryfying her son's deeds! can a father with less experienced be expected to do otherwise? and am sure its less harmful for a 5 to 8 year old than a man in his early 30s to be doing what he is doing. Having so much faith in his own ego. When a mother can blindly ignore the wrong deeds of her son for his own happiness, why cant a father ignore a bit of a honest statement by his son? thats the real question.

Well said Pennu. I don't know why there is so much fuss on the use of the word "ganda" . It's not even an abuse. We all use this word like a million times in our daily lives. "Ganday kapray" , "ganda khana" and so on!

I'm not saying Sultan isn't a good dad, I'm saying he's not a good person !

He should have said to Aryan that whatever he does isn't good !

Aryan thinking that he's dad is good will think that whatever he does is right, and may become a gangster as well and I'm sure Sultan doesn't want that then he should do everything to prevent his son from thinking that he's a good man/citizen !

I agree with you : Sultan is better than RK, but that doesn't mean he's good ! RK a reference to say that if you're better than RK then you're a good person and if you're worse than RK then you're a bad person !

Thanks. Yes kids are honest. And a kid is being bashed for his honesty and being questioned as to why he doesn't hate his Father too. Bravo to this forum. The day they all start hating their Fathers, I would definitely like to know how it feels.

Thanks. I was sure too, which is why I made this post. This forum overflows with negativity!

People will ignore everything if it is against RK. So don't bother thinking why. Even they don't have any explanation. All Aryan has seen of RK were bad things, it's not his fault is it. He is merely sharing what he felt with his Father. Is that a crime?
