I think Aryan already assumed or decided that Madoo is his beloved mother...and thats why he keeps pushing his Papa towards his 'to be mother'.

Bachha is very cleaver.

Aur papa to already fisal gaye hain...dosti ka naam de ke rishta aage badhaa rahe hai... Aur papa ne shaayad SRK ka dailog yaad kiya hain..'jab tum kisi cheez ko dil se chaho to saari kaaynaat tumhe oss cheez se milaane me lag jaati hai"...

So here situation and angle both are on mission.
