Episode 244 Discussion: 12th April 2013

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.
Do not litter the thread with chit-chat conversations. A little is permitted to have the friendly atmosphere, but when you feel like chatting more, it is desired you take your conversation with your buddies to alternate venues like chat clubs, pm mode etc.
Quoting Policy: It is desired that people refrain from single, double, triple and multiple quoting of posts on a repetitive basis. They can pick out the parts that they like to quote as opposed to quoting the entire post. It is often seen that we have to scroll through the pages when all they have done is quoting and more quoting with one line response to the actual post. IF has a rule that more than three times quoting is not allowed. But nowadays as people read IF posts over phone, it is preferred that people do not quote longer posts and just extract the portions of the post that they like to respond to and if they still find it relevant to their thought process then get the entire quoted text.

Episode 244 Discussion - EOD summary

Hostage Drama continues. Crazy RK add another hostage, his mother to his emotional Atyachaar list, impresses Audience with superb Dialogue-baazi against his mother and Bhabhi, but fails to impress Madhubala

Events of the Episode

The episode is high on dialogues. Must watch episode.
Radhaji had come from outside and has got to know about all the crazy kidnapping drama that RK enacted. Though happy that Madhu is back in the mansion, but Radhaji seeing from a woman's standpoint is not okay with abduction and forceful detention of Madhu. She asks MAdhu to leave. However Rishabh Kundra, with another round knife-wielding drama and threatening to kill himself (by cutting his wrist), makes the two women dear to him, agree to his plan...that of Madhu staying back at RK Mansion.
Madhu walks to their room. Sees all nooks and corners of the room rekindling memories. She opens her cupboard and sees her dupatta hanging out. As she is lost in memory, RK comes to tell her how he looks at it to feel her presence. Madhu is reminded that she needs to get disgusted of him.
As RK spews some more dialogues on his methods of loving Madhu, Madhu answers him that she must be a strange person for trusting and loving a man who cannot be trusted or loved.
RK maneuvers her to answer his second question, if she loves him only. Madhu unwillingly under duress tells him so that she loves him only as he has left her incaplable living and loving anyone else. RK in a deranged trance like state is happy to hear that Madhu loves him only and blocks himself out from hearing the rest of her painful part of inability to love anyone else. Madhu is totally disgusted at him and avoids to interact with him and craziness.
The servant comes to give food for Madhu. Dipali is eavesdropping at RK-Madhu door. She is unable to hear anything. Inside RK is trying his level best to make Madhu eat food. She is being stubborn not to eat. RK frustrated gets up to go out, opens the door, SPLAT!! Dips falls onto the floor. Hilarious scene and hilarious dialogues. Madhu gets up to see what is the commotion about, but she doesn't laugh at the scene like audience laughs.
RK goes and calls for his mother and complains to her that Madhu is not eating. Radhaji turns to Madhu. Episode ends.

As a mother-in-law she wants Madhu to stay, but as a woman first and foremost, Radhaji want's Madhu to leave.

Well atleast RK acknowledges that Madhu is one of the most important woman in his life. RK seems to be a bit calm today, the frenzy that gripped him is totally toned down now, though he beahves as crazily as ever, carrying around that knife as a constant threat. Thus forcing Madhu to stay with him. Using a line from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

Madhu remembers the moments in RK's room, and finds the dupatta still hanging there in RK's closet. He kept it. And I must say I didn't remember which memory it was associated with it. RK promises that nothing will ever separate them. True, nothing ever will. What a memory to choose at a time when RK's questioning the existence of another person coming between them.

Madhu finally answers RK's question. She doesn't love anyone other than RK, she can't because he has broken her too much to be able to do that. She is upset with him for even thinking that. Still as predicable as always in that respect. Not like her husband who just turns ariund and throws everything in your face.

WTH was that? Did he actually just ask her to talk some more, because he likes it? Madhu expression was just priceless. She couldn't believe that RK just said that. Whatever she or, I for that matter, was expecting, that was so so not it. I hope RK is focusing on her "I love you. I can't love anyone else." and not "You killed me."

Why did they break the scene with Dipali? Not done. I wanted to see it continue and play out. Just jumping straight to them eating food it .

RK is trying to feed Madhu.. Dipali attempts to spy. Get a life woman. But I must say, his BBB-ing gets better all the time. RK twists Deewaar movie's classic dialogue to call for his Maa who arrives to find out what has her son done this time.

And that precap.. They are in different places, Sultan at his place and Madhu-RK in theirs with RK using his lighter ..

a much better episode after yesterday...mainly bec. RK was very much "normal" in his own right..

he stops Madhu from leaving blackmailing both the women who he claims to be the most important in his life

Madhu tells him that she stayed back bec. he threatened to harm himself

Finally, he gets the answer to his "do you only love me" and it's a yes from Madhu..that reminded me of a scene from K3G..SRK is BBB'ing Hritik and Hritik is staring at him n saying "acha lagta hai , aur kaho na" , SRK says "main gaana gaa raha hoon jo acha lag raha hai"? 😃just that Madhu's reaction was different..that of plain disgust...perhaps bec. he's completely oblivious to her pain..and he's smiling bec. even after all this, Madhu loves him..but idiot ko samajh nahi aata ke Madhu meant ke she can never love anyone else bec. she can never trust anyone in her life...before this scene, their small chit chat was cute..."hum jeete kisleyi hai", "same pinch"..i dun remember the whole thing but it was so much like a husband wife spat...

RK trying to feed Madhu and trying to make her smile...but she's not kam ziddi...RK called Radha n complained to her !! "mere paas abhi bhi ma hai" isn't he acting like a 5 yr old kid?

Radha proved that she is RK's mother by doing ajeeb harkatein

RK's closet had only one dupatta ?? that's why it keeps flying on his face whenever he opens it...ye raaz tha ! 😎 and we thought some bhoot is throwing the dupatta on him...

Dipali's (haddi ki plate) was BBB'd , my fav. scene today..SM is acting fab...she had to literally fall (if it was not her BD) n it was a bad fall...I like her angry avtaar, since the time RK brought back Madhu..RK's dialogues were 👏🥳best part was Rk saying "aur last one..bahut acha hai..sunke jaao" 🤣

Madhu phir se "kaise jiyoon tere bin" wale sad song na gaana 🤢 tihs time it didn't fit the situation...but i liked her reliving those old memories...

there was not a single dull moment today...except the precap 🥱 must be the reason behind those handcuffs..RK dreaming of Sultan taking away Madhu..BTW that door was not of RK's room...

nowadys all epsiodes r giving me goosebumps, RK is combo of hate and love u will get totally confuse whether to hate him or love him that was my situation today after the epi, yes I was so disgust just like MB, after tht confession of her, but later his antics of calling deepalu haadiyo ke plate and tave pe dosa flat wala dialogues really crack me 2day I know maybe RK characetr is hard to understand for many on forums or many trp audiences also bcos v has not seen such a maniac bfore.

Really good episo de, showed RK's insecurities very aptly and Madhu's turmoil too. Kind of scary to think that how much of a difference one decision can make in your life. Fall in love with a wrong person and you are messed up for life. Anyway, I have hopes from RK that he will eventually correct his wrongs😃

Thank you guys for the clarification on the precap. I was about to kill Sultan. But after reading the reviews checked the precap again and found that the lighter near Madhu is white and Sultan's black😃 You guys saved me from killing someone😛

Thank god u noticed that. I was damn dead scared for tomorrow. Seeing RK present mood if that sultan crashes into RK mansion can't imagine RK would do. The show is such a suspense thriller. Thanks to RK. I strongly believe he will put all his focus in madhu. " u killed me" part. Once he is confident about I love u part. Dipali sure lighten d the moment. Want RK to go from this mood to " make madhu smile" mission. He wants it, he will do it. Sultan stay away. Take care of ur kid

I was thinking of his smile. I was hoping he was smiling because he just heard her "I love you" and not "You killed me". He just caught the answer to his question and ignored the rest as immaterial.

I enjoyed the epi...things are starting to stabilize in RK-land somewhat...he's back to being as "normal" as he can be.

All the scenes were enjoyable...starting from the opening one with Radhaji...him talking about the two most important women in his life...one who gave life to him and one who's dying to take his life? LOL what interesting and crazy choice of words from RK as always.

He's understood the power of the knife now...Madhu basically gave him that power given her panicked reaction to his cutting his hand...so now he's using it as an easy method to manipulate her...

The scenes in the room were interesting...especially loved their, "Hum saans kyun lete hain? Same pinch" exchange...it was SO bang on what their relationship is...him saying he needs to hear that she loves only him the same way ppl need air to breathe and her calling his nonsense BAKWAAS😆

I like that Madhu is generally ignoring him and not responding to his nonsense much.

Regarding the scene where he says "aur bolo naa, achha lagta hai"...I think he's in some kind of trance...his only focus is having her in front of him, reinforcing that she loves him...he hasn't yet registered the rest of the pain he's caused her cuz again he can't deal with it.

The feeding scene was cutee...Mr. India references...aww...lol...yeah he's trying to cajole her like she's just a roothi hui biwi but I like that Madhu is giving him the silent treatment.

The scene with Dips...LMAO...I LOVED RK's smile on seeing Dips go SPLAT in front of him...lol...and the dialogues there...especially when he goes, "Ise kehte hain family bonding"...again makes me think that a guy who's lived in such a TOXIC atmosphere for most of his life...what else can he be BUT twisted? It's the only way he knows how to survive.

Loved the "Mere paas maa hai" dialogue too...I guess for now Radhaji is going to be a reluctant buffer b/w them since Madhu isn't leaving of her own free will.

Precap...Err I hope you're all right that Sultan hasn't shown up at the actual mansion itself cuz we really don't need RK going on another rampage so soon...wonder why they didn't show the handcuff scene in the precap :S
