To me, this gif sorta summarizes their relationship in what was otherwise a light-hearted moment b/w them...
Madhu ungli dikhaayegi toh RK HAS to BEND it😆😆...She's a CHALLENGE that he HAS to win OVER and OVER again...that's his obsession...He can't let her have the last word....
It's a GAME b/w them...RK THRIVES on playing mind games with everyone in his life...but Madhu is the ONLY person who has stood up to him in those games and made the challenge more FUN for him...lol...and in all that only somewhere they've managed to fall passionately in love with each other...so situations change, circumstances change...but inherently the POWER PLAY remains...it will be there in EVERY facet of their relationship whether good or bad...that's how I see them.
That is the essence of their relationship and nothing wrong with that equation when the couple themselves like it that way. Look at your gif. She didn't like his bending of her finger, she turns away, he also turns away, but she looks back at at him again, he too looks back at her --meaning cannot stay away from each other, the game that play, the fun they have at having played and it shows off...they burst off laughing with each other. Its the passion of two loves, its their kind of amorous play, likes wild-cats fighting and still enjoying it.
I once posted a video of lion-lioness fight in the wild as one of Rishbala fight reminded me of it.😆 in the EDT after spending a night and a morning searching for good videos of all kinds of cat fights. 🤣 See that is entertainment as well. Right ? Making me go crazy and searching for lion-fight videos.🤣
Anyways...whatever it is, the power-play between them as it plays out, the offences, the defences, the territorial fights, all generate a lot of entertainment. In the end what is enjoyable even if viewed from a moralising and sermonising perspective is they don't cross the lines institutional abuse and even if that line is crossed, they are available recourses for the perceived victim to invoke in the name of getting justice served. The realists see it, so the realists watching the show understand why the other is not reacting in a normally expected manner (Read Bell's Curve- of statistics - Normal Distribution). Then all of that reaction when seen as falling at the tail ends of curve we know that its just that the victim does not want to go for recourse by himself/herself but will wait for the other to come and enbalm him/her on the wounds.
As viewer than we are just left to express our frustration at abnormality, or exacerbate at the extent of canvas of the game-field they have designed for themselves and we end up watching them as two pitted souls against each other, angry at themselves that how much the other invokes the passion in him or her.
Its a CRAZY show. But to term it as crazy show, we the viewers have to cross the AAG KA DARIYA of SANITY and then we would be able to enjoy the show.
See everyday, in the forum, people wade into this aag ka dariya of realistic expectations to douse themselves in the sea of crazy passion of Rishbala. A dariya will have to finally fall into samunder. Right ?
