Part 4
Hatred! Pure hatred surged within his veins for her yet another part was deeply connected to her. His eyes transfixed on to the green bottle in his hand, the deep red liquid inside fascinated him somehow.
"Intoxicated are you as this wine" he scoffed twirling his wrist as the liquid stirred circularly within. Touching the edge of the bottle to his lips, he tilted downing the drink in gulps, pure rage seeped within nonetheless there was some unspoken pain.
He sucked in a harsh breath and looked at the wine bottle in his hand sadly, pain depicted through his eyes.
He laughed shaking his head. "Oh! Firdaus. Firdaus. Firdaus". The name seemed to brush off his tongue in mockery. "Cheers to you honey" he lifted the bottle opposite the picture of herself hung on the wall. He took another swig of his wine. "You know Firdaus..." His voice had slurred a little with the intake of alcohol in his system. "You were probably destined for me" he chuckled scratching the back of his head. "You know why? Hmm?" he questioned her picture. "You know why?" he asked as if wanting her response. "Pata nahi kya? Doesn't matter I'll tell you" he smiled brightly. "Because you survived. Just think! Your brother was killed with you present but he kept you alive. So that has to mean you were destined for me na?" he chuckled shaking his head. "You truly are forbidden" he whispered caressing her face in the picture with his fingers. "No matter what one says! You'll be here soon" he softly muttered beneath his breath. A tear escaped the corner of his eyes, despite losing his conscience due to the drink he still knew what he was going to do. "You're not going to be a free bird but one bird that flew from one cage to another"
***
"I'm not having breakfast" Madhu announced scowling at Vikram who sat opposite her.
"Don't start! Eat then do whatever you have to before tonight. We've got a big client in tonight so I want you well" he responded.
"I hate you so much" she muttered
"Feelings mutual" he bit into his toast ignoring her glares.
"Do they have to be in the room?" She gestured to the two guards stood near the door.
"Yes" he sipped his coffee.
"I don't like them. They're invading my privacy"
"You're only having breakfast"
"Still" she rolled her eyes as if he'd said something unintelligible.
"Please eat" he huffed out.
"You know I'm really tired today" she stretched her arms yawning.
"And I really don't care! You're not going to be skipping the party tonight" he warned her, his eyes silently warning her to speak against him.
She quietened looking here and there, then picked her toast and took a bite.
"Can I ask something?" she spoke after some time.
"Shoot" he tore his gaze from his phone to pay full attention.
"I can't ask with them here" she pointed to the guards with her eyes.
Vikram waved them off, once the door closed behind them he waited for her to speak. "carry on"
"If suppose I loved som..." before she continued he interrupted.
"Do you?" he asked.
"No! I'm asking If I did, would you let me free?"
His fingers clenched forming a fist. "not this again" he grit out between his teeth out of frustration.
"Why are you keeping me here? I don't do anything but dance on weekends only, that too for what? 20minutes!"
He rubbed his face as if he were stressed. "I won't be discussing why I keep you here"
"Don't I have a right to know?"
"I would've killed you had you not been Ranveer's sister"
"So Funny! Murder would be a better death than having to die here with boredom" she countered.
"Aww baby bored hai? I'll do one thing put you on display like the other girls" he responded back.
"Youu..." she huffed in annoyance looking for a suitable word for him "You bas***d" she shouted picking the toast and flicking it across directing at him.
"Oh! that weighed a ton" he mocked as the toast hit his chest and fell.
She scowled at him, pressing her lips together in anger. He watched her with intensity, not once letting his gaze waver off her.
Madhu held onto the jug which was filled with juice, Vikram had thought nothing of it assuming she was going to pour it in her own glass but he was wrong, as she poured it all over him.
"OH!" he gasped as the cold drink splashed over him.
"There you go! Next time don't mock my intelligence mister" she huffed out stomping out the room and the slammed the door behind her.
He shook his head wiping his face with the napkins as he watched her retreat. "kis pagal ke saat phas gayi hoon" he mumbled.
***
"These men are such bas***ds, man" one girl commented as she was getting ready, Madhu watched uninterested, she didn't feel too well plus she wasn't up to dance till late evening, these girls however were appointed for the show this early evening meaning another 3/4hrs till she has to go up on stage.
"What happened today?" another asked.
"I wont be able to go with anyone tonight" she answered
"Kyun?"
"I'm so sore. Pata nahi main show kar paoongi ya nahi" she responded trying to walk from one end of the room to the next end in the 5 inch heels. "Oh..." she groaned taking a seat
"How does it feel?" Madhu asked intrigued by the way some did speak about it.
"It hurts!" one answered as she tied the strings of her blouse behind. "A lot"
"I thought some love it" Madhu commented.
"Only with the person you love" One whispered sadly.
Madhu looked at them, all of them were here in their own will as they needed a job and this job paid well more than any normal job, she knew their helplessness, so many girls like themselves were stuck in such places, not by their own choice, some are forced, some out of helplessness. No woman in this world would ever want to be a sex object for a man. She was lucky as she only had to dance for just 20 minutes or even less however these girls weren't so lucky.
"Girls" the deep voice of the guard called them as he stood out.
"Hurry hurry" One of them spoke as she slipped into her heels, opening the door she headed out for the stage.
Soon the others joined and left Madhu in the room.
Madhu looked around for a moment, the voices of them echoed in her ears. As always how callous these men were, how much it pains them, how they hated it etc... Madhu did at times feel guilty of complaining about being stuck here, at times like this she was grateful she wasn't in their position at all. Looking at the room one more time she headed back to her own.
***
"Madhu" Vikram called out from outside knocking on her bedroom door, it was nearly evening and the time for show was nearing.
"Madhu" he called for her once again hearing no response. "I'm coming in" he informed her.
"Madhu" he muttered seeing her in bed covered till her neck with the blanket. Approaching her he settled on the bed.
"Madhu you ok?" he asked softly.
She moaned as a response, he reached to touch her forehead but took his hand off her skin as soon as he felt it. She was burning up like a hot oven. "Damn" he muttered beneath his breath.
He rubbed his forehead then reaching into his jacket he pulled his phone out.
"I need a doctor here asap" he ordered over the phone.
***
"She needs lots of rest, I advise full bed rest, lots of juices and fruits. Lots of fibres and proteins" the doctor went on explaining what would be best for her at this time.
Vikram noted duly without any mistakes. "Hmm"
He turned to look at Madhu once the doctor made her out. "Make sure nothing goes wrong tonight" he turned his head to look at his assistant.
The assistant nodded. "Yes sir"
"You can leave" he waved the assistant away.
Heading towards her bed he settled on the chair beside her. Leaning back in the chair he looked down at her pale face. Memories swarmed into his mind as he sat there just staring down at her. He closed his eyes arching his head back letting the memories play once again in his mind and as always haunting him.
***
RK peeped through the window carefully without gathering any attention, he looked at Madhu who lay on bed with Vikram sat on the chair. His forehead creased with confusion. Questions arose within to which he wanted answers to but only Madhu can answer however now wasn't the time? He slipped away in silence and was successful in to escape the building site without anyone seeing him.
"Shit" he kicked the ground as he reached his car which was parked with some distance to the site. He brushed his hair back harshly, then rubbed his nape with his hand. How can he meet her today? He couldn't go back home without meeting her neither can he go back with that Vikram in the room.
***
Vikram constantly shifted on the chair, it was either out of boredom or the stiff wooden chair was hurting him. He stretched his arms out yawning and leaned back once again when his eyes fell onto a book that sat on the cherry wood bedside drawer. He picked it out of curiosity, the cover was a cream colour with brown floral designs on the front. Opening the cover he saw the picture of herself with Ranveer. His fingers instantly drew to the picture and caressed with the pads of his fingertips with a smile tugging his lips.
He turned over the page once again to see little poems written by her.
Where do I belong?
Here where men's gaze never leave my body
Or some place else where I can hide away from the lusted gaze
Where Is My Place?
He turned over once again to see another.
Waiting for you.
I wait, wait and wait.
Where are you?
Save me from this place
I was waiting, I'm waiting and I will be waiting.
I will be waiting for you
Simply waiting for you is all I can do.
Waiting for you.
Turning over he saw another.
Loneliness.
What is the meaning of this simple word?
It is not just a word but one that brings lots of emptiness within.
Void is that the correct word for my loneliness.
I stand with many around me however I still feel this empty space within me.
A piece of myself is yet missing but what?
My life is nothing but a puzzle, many pieces missing, many joined, so much confusion with all these blank spaces.
I want to find the next part of this puzzle.
What will be the next piece to this puzzle?
He closed the diary unable to read anymore. Deep breaths escaped his lips, his chest heaved with the sudden heaviness of mounting guilt. He'd never known she was feeling like this. He'd never thought of her to be so lonely within such a crowded space.
However no matter how she feels he couldn't let her out of his sight? He couldn't let her out of this place, no matter how this place was, no matter how much went on in this place, he couldn't allow her to leave for he knew darkness that awaits her if she ever comes to leave.
His fingers reached her forehead, simply grazing his fingers lightly as he looked at her.
"I'm sorry Madhu" he mumbled ever so quietly, his eyes stung with the tears that gathered beneath his lids, he then pressed a kiss to her forehead before standing to leave the room.
Madhu stirred as she heard patter of footsteps moving away, she blinked open her eyes to see Vikram retreating.
"Vikram" she called out his name in a soft whisper.
He stopped however didn't turn. "Sleep. You're not well" he spoke before she could get a word in then headed out the room without waiting for her response.
Precap - ???
*Read Note In Purple For Definite*
None of the poems above are taken off anybody, it is solely my own work.
I was reading a book of mine (as usual 😆 ) and there was a hatred type of plot between two lovers who broke up, and as I got to that bit my mind floated to TFT and I'd gotten my plot all sorted mentally, how much I go by this plot I dont know but I can tell you it'll be a roller coaster ride.
Disclaimer -This FF is Nothing to do with the novel, no concept, no scene, nor characters not one thing is taken from the novel. You can read the novel for yourself and compare.
Love Left Behind - Novel.

I will be considering my decision to write this FF here as this story isn't going as well as I'd hoped. Will wait till a few more parts, if it doesn't pick up I will discontinue.
