The best post made on the forum today for sure! Very well written! You have described his character so aptly.
Sultan is only a gangster by name, even his arch enemy stated that he was a gangster with a heart which seems to be his weaknessđ so yesshh!...He does seem to be able to differentiate b/w good and bad and therefore, as you clearly advocated in your post, makes his character slightly different from a normal antagonist we might get on tv. I used antagonist because thats how he has been described. Sultan is a character who has intrigued me from the moment he was shown making his entry. His tough disciplinary actions on his son despite his immense love for him, makes you feel for him even more. He does not want his son to go through the same pain he has gone through and thus his tough exterior- but deep down he has a heart that melts every time he sees his son, but alas he cannot allow himself to shower him with love, until after MB's lecture of courseđ
Like you said MB and his relationship is not based on love but trust; an trust is the foundation of any relationship, and I love how cvs are projecting the word trust between these two characters. They have endured similar pains from their better half (somehow better half doesn't sound right, so I will tweak it and state worse halfđ) and found solace in each other to be open about their past: this is more from Sultan's side than MB!
ANyways, once again, amazing post :D
