Rishab is so annoying. Whenever i am with him i can't help but feel my blood pressure raising. Today is my favorite day of the week Sunday and we all were having breakfast peacefully when that moron pooped from nowhere and started a foot fight with me under the table. Soon the fight changed to a war and the table shook making the food fall on me. When i gave him my maximum possible dead glare he began to laugh.
I cleaned myself and changed to fresh dress. I heard a knock and sure it must be Moron Khundra may be he wanted to worsen my already bad mood.
" it is my day to be invisible " i shouted
" Madhu its me " i heard Ranveer's voice from otherside.
Reluctantly i opened the door. And saw Ranveer standing with chocolate shake. Now i ought to welcome him. I grabbed the shake from him and sat in my bed cross legged. He followed me inside and pulled a chair to sit.
" How do you manage with him in the house ? " i asked twisting the straw inside the shake
" he is good to me " he said shrugging.
" yeah and i have a board in my head saying 'come mess with me' " i said rolling my eyes.
" he is annoying you because you get annoyed easily " he said as a matter of fact
That is a valid point taken into consideration. Whenever Rishab tries to pull any prank on Ranveer or aunty they just walk away giving him a damn. May be i should follow it.
" ohk listen i m not here to talk about the morning incident " he said shifting to serious mode.
" you know we used to throw a party every year right" he asked
" yeah my friends told me " i said remembering about the party Kiara mentioned the other day.
" so we are planning it this Friday " he said
Wow cool. Back home i haven't attended any party much. In fact i didn't have many friends so no one technically invited us to parties. This is officially going to be my first party.
" now you are staying with us and part of our family now so we want you to join the preparation as well " Ranveer said
Did he actually mean the ' part of our family' thing?. That was so sweet of him to say. I have never belonged anywhere exclusively neither my father nor mother. It was always strange but now i belong somewhere. A place where i m celebrated and this moment i don't care that i have a irritating moron here.
" you really think i should do it? " i asked. I was excited but i didn't want them to include me only because i was here with them.
" of course. Every time i and Rishab do it. You know our taste. Men suck at times. We want party to be different this time. So we need your help. " he said genuinely
" wow that is cool " i said clasping my hands.
" but ..." he trailed of
" what? " i asked
" umm... we have to work together " Ranveer said
" of course we will work together. You are my friend " i said patting his shoulders
He chuckled. " we means you,me and Rishab " he said
Of course i know that. I m not gonna kick him out of the house , am i?
" i think i can survive " i said as if its the hardest thing for me to do. Well it is.
" so group meeting at 5 in the games room " he said standing up.
" we have a group ?" i asked crossing my eyebrows.
" three makes a group, right? " he said making a face that babies make when you ask them the most obvious things. I could have pulled his cheeks.
At five i went to games room and Ranveer and Rishab were already there.
" Welcome pancake. You are late" Rishab said
" but its just five " i said checking my watch
" you are 50 seconds late " Rishab said with a grin.
Forgive me if i hate this boy.
" where is yash? " i asked
"Underage " Ranveer said tapping the seat beside him for me to sit.
Oh the party has age limit? I never knew. I was about to sit near Ranveer when Rishab pulled me to the seat near him and smirked at Ranveer who just rolled his eyes.
" whats the plan? " i asked
" ok mom and dad will stay in the outhouse with yash and we ll have the house for ourselves till four in the morning." Ranveer said
Overnight party? I can't believe their parents agreed to it. Does that mean they have alcohol?
" no blueberry we don't have alcohol. We are not bad guys." Rishab said. Did i say it loud or he read my mind?
" so guys. We need to divide works. Guests shouldn't be a problem we can manage. Rishab food and Madhu you will take care of decoration.an all other petty works i ll manage " Ranveer said
" its not fair " i complained.
What does he mean by petty works? Running errands? That is easy i can do that.
" trust me baby you wouldn't want to share his work it is boring and yeah difficult "Rishab said
" we will discuss other things tomorrow." Ranveer said and turned to me " Madhu i want rough plan of decorations tomorrow " he turned to Rishab " and brother you are giving me the menu at the same time"
" yes caption " me and Rishab said in chorus. Ranveer was having that look of strict officer when he talked things like that.
Going back to my room i began to surf in net. Ranveer wanted it to be different and he trusted me so i must make it special. This should be the most rocking Khundra party.
Next day i went to college but my mind was preoccupied about the party plan. We have another 'group' meeting at 4 in the terrace if three can be called a group.
" whats up?" i said taking my place beside misha. Our regular lunch place.
" you seem busy.don't tell me you are working on the project " misha said with shock
" of course not. I m just planning the Khundra party . Ranveer wanted me to plan it " i bragged about it.
" they are just using you as assistant " Anna said piercing the cutlet with fork. I bet she imagined the cutlet as me. I have no clue why this girl hates me but i m not her fan though.
" why is he coming here ?" Kiara said half excited and half shocked
I turned my face to see Rishab walking towards us. Oh God not again. I can't put up with his carp here at least in college.
" i need to talk " he said. I was about to snap when i saw he was seeing somewhere else. I saw him looking at Anna and she was staring at him. What the..?
They kept looking at each other for a couple of minutes before Anna followed him out of the canteen.
" again with their drama " misha rolled her eyes.
" they are sweet " kiara added.
What is it ? Why am i not understanding anything? I wanted to ask misha but to my bad luck bell was out and next period was important that i can't miss.
Later in the evening i was walking to the parking when Rohan came running to me.
" hey, where were you this afternoon? " i asked. He wasn't there for lunch.
" yeah busy with basket ball practice " he said
" so? "
" um well i wanted to ask something " he said
" sure "
" i know Khundra party is this Friday " he said . News spreads like fire.
" yeah and this time i m planning it" i can't help adding that.
" am i invited? " he asked
" of course, you are my friend " i said. He is such a sweet guy and i like him. He is definitely invited.
" don't take me wrong i m just excited " he said quiet embarrassed
" why? " i asked as we began to walk.
" I have never been invited before " he said
" really!!! Why so ? " i asked shocked. Rohan is in sports that ultimately makes him popular so why not invited ?
" umm well my history with the Khundras are not pretty good " he said running his hand through his hair.
" what is it? " i asked
" my brother was in tiff with Ranveer and it just continues " he said. Ranveer surely seems a guy who would indulge in rivalry
" but i have no hand in that i m genuinely good " he added. Of course i know. He is the only popular guy ever in the history who is down-to-earth.
Should i ask him what is the reason for their tussle? I m curious. This just sounds like a book where people have enemies,friends, secrets etc. But Ranveer is closer to me compared to Rohan so i should ask him. May be he can tell me the actual story. Or i could just listen to both versions and then decide what to do.
" not again" i heard Rohan mumble breaking my thoughts.
I saw the direction he was looking and tadda i saw moron Khundra leaning on a girl his both hands on either side of her pasted on the wall and he was smirking. Not the 'i m the best' kind of smirk that he usually gives me. It was flirty. The girls's hair was on the side preventing me from seeing her face. I suddenly remembered Rishab going with Anna during the lunch. Is it possible that it is her. OMG it should be her the same yellow dress.
" Is it... "
" i can't believe Anna went with him again " rohan said before i complete my sentence.
What do you mean by again? I wanted to ask when i heard footsteps.
" ready to go? " i heard Ranveer's voice
" huh yeah " i said trying not to look at Rishab's direction.
" i must get going " rohan said and walked away before i could say bye.
I didn't miss to notice that Ranveer didn't look at rohan even once. He behaved as if rohan is invisible. Which one should i ask to him first ? About Rohan or Rishab?
" why is Rishab not with us ? " i blurted before my mind could process which is more important. I hate my brain when it doesn't listen to me.
