I was thinking the same. Do u remember in one of the initial episodes Mb got a distinction in her exam and trishna failed. I was wondering what was she studying at collage. Was that a beautician course? Why can't she quit film industry and search for an other job. Still tolerating all insults. I didn't like that Rk called her a third class girl today. Its simply unbearable to hear him and dipali taunt Madhu regarding her social class

Reading all your reviews, I see that everyone is just concentrating on RK's harangue, but no one is actually seeing the call for it. IMO it was required. Because when I was listening to him, I felt as if my boss was giving me a lecture for breaking protocol. Yes Rishabh Kundra used that kind of mocking+authoritative tone.

I would like to mention that...for a man who took his slaps seriously, having his car attacked to teach him a lesson and be threatened like this is ACTUALLY A BIG DEAL.

The Star who calls PACK UP at his whim, today was threatened, in broad daylight in front of the studio. It was slight to his honour. And what did RK do ?
  • As the Superstar, he taught EVERYONE including the HAIRDRESSER that they and she better remember who he is and what power he holds, should they want their bread-winning work to continue on the sets. He used the word ASSOCIATION. We should ALL remember that RK on his sets is called RK Sir and not just RK. Only Madhu calls him RK.
  • As the Ex-Husband of Madhu, he did not go ballistic like when Madhu slapped him before all the cast and crew. This time it was just a harangue. He took all his anger out rather than like previous time, to concentrate it into silence. Previously he had BAN imposed on Trishna. Madhu was nothing to him then. Now she was his Ex-Biwi and because of their ongoing antics; known to everyone, he forgave her.
We need to understand that Rishabh Kundra did not just act like the MAN, the Ex-Husband who was warned, he was also responsible to protect his Superstar Status. If he had not given out his warning to all, if he had not given out the public speech like that, in matter of minutes, he would have been the BUTT of ridicule like the Previous time when people laughed at him on getting slapped by Madhu.

*************
As for Madhu keeping quite, the plot weave is like Bollywood Action movie Potbolier. Its like Manmohan Desai movie...AB-Vinode Khanna-Villain kind of movie...where Sultan (second hero) is creating problem more n more for Madhu (Heroine); and he is a good father and seemingly good person, but unknowingly he is creating hate for himself from RK (first hero). Its growing into a Huge misunderstanding like the Hindi movies. Now enter Bhujang (Villain); he will take advantage of the situation between the two. Total copy of typical potboiler of 80's.

Ditto. Today he really went overboard and what frustrated me was her bowing her head down and listening to all the crap. Who does that? And especially someone who is so self-righteous that is not even scared of questioning a don on his parenting skills. Just amazes me.

Seriously this husband and wife fights are nerve-wracking for everyone around them. Imagine the poor producers to bear the brunt of RK's anger/ love and Sultan having to bear Madhu's long and tortureous dialogues. Feel really pity for them. I hope someone comes and removes either MB from her job or asks them to continue their fights after work hours😕

Creatives have a show to run. They need to make RK and Madhu explode. RK's already on it, just waiting for Madhu to be a bit more reactive. 😆 And throughout the process the creatives will keep throwing in small scenes like the one on Saturday that suddenly makes viewers crave for more😆 In a twisted way, it manages to build anticipation. 😆

Agree on RK wanting to maintain his star status but then his dialogue on her class etc did not go down well with me. Especially him taunting about her having the pleasure of living the lavish life when with himBut then he is mad in jealousy so cannot expect much from him. But MB standing and listening to everything without even quitting didn't go down well for me

Seriously that Saturday scene was like a lollypop shown to kids saying 'If you behave well at the end of the day you will be given that'. And we fall for it everytime too.

But again think from his point of view...he does not know who did it...but whoever was it...was Madhu's ally. At one point of time, Madhu was associated with him and showed all class. Now suddenly he sees a classless act. What is one to think of it ? Tell me.

I am not advocating RK...but Public life, Public Image calls for certain measures for such cheap acts. When RK is cheap, he is able to answer his cheapness. When cheap things happen to him, he takes care of it in his manner. He went to Police Custody in all elan, though he was seething in anger. Today too he was seething in anger, but he gave a performance for all to register what he spoke and not what they saw. That is called brand-building. And Madhu did acknowledge that power. She acted prudently today before RK the Superstar. It comes naturally when one is working in those conditions. We television viewers may not feel it seeing it from our living room, but I could sense the tension for all there...

Its too bad that ST and his production manager go for low-budget cars for RK the Super Star...that I call as production PROPS overlook. They need to pay attention to the Props as well.

Agfree with you as I guess each industry is different and has its own way of working. I am from IT where the attrition is so high that generally boss is scared to talk to his subordinates. But have heard that this kind of maintaining a 1-up attitude is very common in government and other jobs.
