Mukund times, she lodged the police complaint against Rk without fearing for any consequences from the big shot (was that her naivety). At that time, all family members apart from Padmini asked her not to. This time around, everyone is asking her to lodge a complaint, but she herself justifies not to...

Character development wise, at the start, I had hoped with time Madhu would learn to choose her battles in life. I'm not too sure it's because of that reason Madhu doesn't want to go ahead. She has formed an attachment with Aryan and clings on to it, despite her mother's scolding.
