the dream sequence yest. was the highlight yest..very impactful !first when he sees Madhu, the first thing which comes to his mind is "Madhu tum theek ho na??" may be bec. he didn't get a satisfactory answer from her yesterday , also his main concern was that Madhu doesn't harm herself (he said tumne apne aap ko chot to nahi pahuchayi)...then he saw Sultan's shadow and his eyes..he stood b/w Madhu and him..as if he was protecting Madhu from him...he dares him to touch Madhu.. Madhu took a step towards him and he takes out a dagger...subconsciously RK knew Madhu will never go to Sulu (he didnt imagine Madhu running into his arms) but Sultan will kind of hypnotize Madhu to come to him & RK will not let that happen...bottomline is that he senses danger in form of Sultan..for him and Madhu...i loved loved his scene with Dipali..of course watching him taking solace in Dipali's arms made me 😵 i wanted to shut my eyes but then I was so intrigued by what RK was saying ke I could not..the way he was frantically looking for Madhu's number in his cell, he forgot that he was hurt , not listening to Dipali, infact he didn't realize it's Dipali, he never looked at her, he was so much into his own thoughts ..a very well written scene and perfectly enacted by VD 👏 Dipali's presence at that moment didn't irk me but yes, beyond this I don't wanna see her face and i just hope Sikky or Radha manage to keep her away from RK..

This is what I felt when I saw the scene. Everyone has a fear of the unknown. RK is doubly tormented bcos he doesnt know the man he sees. If it is someone he knows, then RK can devise ways to keep the Madhu-Sultan apart. But here, RK has no idea who the other guy is. Sultan is the unknown force, his anonymity adds to his danger. RK stepped in front of Madhu was bcos he was afraid Sultan will take her away from him. Subconsciously RK is always tormented by his famous 3 betrayals. He thinks this new guy will take Madhu away from him. If he can keep Madhu away from this man, then he wouldnt be able to do that. Why else would be announce that he is her husband? He is telling Sultan that she is only his. Madhu is shown being drawn towards the eyes. Thats bcos, even in this state he cant imagine Madhu leaving him in her full senses (is his ego so dominant?) Unlike other times, he is ready this time to prevent anybody taking her away from him and he starts cautioning Sultan. Sultan has very powerful eyes. RK knows this guy is even ready to do anything to get Madhu and he imagines Sultan throwing the dagger.
I usually skip RK-Dipali scene. I only watched it to write my realisation post. Otherwise why torture oneself? Sikky's interruption raises hope in me. And yes, like you I hope it was Radhaji or Bittuji who had come.
