Today's episode was a no-nonsense one with a sensible and serious underlying tone to it. The CVs have once gain proved that they have not forgotten what they have shown us through RK in the name of revenge and what Madhu had to endure in the name of mockery and public humiliation. I liked the episode all the way through and no complaints from me from start to finish.
I was quite intrigued by the fact that Sultan would just drop Madhu off at the chawl and from the looks of it Madhu was not much worried about going home. If Sultan didn't blindfold her and forcibly take her she would have been happy hanging out with Aryan. But I have to say that she did look content with Aryan and after a while she seemed like she was genuinely enjoying someone's company without facing constant questioning and/or intriguing looks. Aryan seems to have already taken a liking for Madhu and seemed a bit sad when Sultan was taking Madhu away. Was it coincidental when Sultan mentioned about her holding a gun like a hair dryer yesterday? I personally don't think so. The reason being that today the servant had to get him the address and also tell him that she is RK's wife and not his ex-wife. What kind of research did the guy do or have his guys do for him? Clearly RK dumped her and there was media covering their breakup and questioning Madhu about their marriage and breakup. I am pretty sure nothing is a secret when it comes to RK and Madhu's relationship. So, what gives?? I am thinking that the CVs are purposely trying to mislead us by giving us false hope and comfort that Sultan does not have prior knowledge of RK and Madhu.
I can understand Madhu's concern for Aryan being just a kid and the way Sultan was strict with him was too hard for her to just stand there and be a patient spectator. But, given the circumstances, he is a gangster and his life is probably in danger most of the time. If something were to happen to him, he wants his son to be able to defend himself. I see both Madhu and Sultan have valid reason behind each of their stance. We cannot just assume that he is tough on Aryan all the time, he might have indulged in some fun activities with him in the past or might do so in the future. The boy does not seem to hate his father and wants to do everything in his might to please him.
So, Madhu still thinks of RK as her husband when Sultan says your husband. I was quite surprised to see her still think of him that way considering the unwedding and all the humiliation that had follwed. I was even more surprised that RK would threaten her to answer his question of where she was and with whom she was considering he has absolutely no right on her and he knows that fully well because he was having FBs of him throwing away the garland and ditching her so rudely at the altar. I love the CVs for making sure that Madhu does not go all mushy on RK looking at his concern for her and his distress over her missing for a long time. They both are truly made for each other despite not meeting eye to eye at the moment. There she was calling out for RK when Sultan asked is that your husband and then there was RK who was "jatofying his haq" when he said that she better answer his question and will not tolerate her royal ignorance since he is her husband which he apparently couldn't finish considering he is not right by any means and isn't that the first time that we get to see him tongue tied. Boy! Madhu just ripped into him when she told him not to raise his voice anymore infront of her or her family and she does not owe any answer to him considering he doesn't mean anything to her and she shouldn't mean anything to him either. I loved the rage in her eyes when she gave him the curt response of he needs to come down to earth and stop thinking that he could control everything and everyone.
RK clearly is insecure and it showed his state of mind when he questioned her about her getting dropped by a man who did not want to show his face. How does it matter to him who she hangs out with when he had mercilessly dumped her at the chawl and humiliated her to the core? Madhu's behavior and attitude today was truly commendable and it definitely gave a much needed reality check to RK. It is going to be quite interesting to see a jealous RK over Madhu who might not give a hoot about what he thinks and might purposely indulge herself in activities that might irk him to the nth degree. I say serves him right but at the end of the day I really do want to him come to terms with what he had done to her in the name of revenge and how it is cruel and heartless to do that to anyone let alone Madhu. What he should do and what I want from the CVs is for RK to reflect on his past actions that includes moral reasoning and judgment over the events and the decisions he had made. In the end, his self analysis and reflection on his actions should provide him an opportunity for self-improvement. He needs to become a better person first before becoming a better lover and a husband. I believe that when the former happens, the latter will naturally fall into its place.
