Err I didn't find anything bad in that slap. I don't think it was a reflex action for ripping off her sleeve. I feel that it was the reaction of what she felt when he betrayed her. At that time she was in complete shock and couldn't react. Then the very next day, when he insulted her again, she was very weak. But now she is gaining her lost strength again and in the promo RK is showing concern for her which is confusing and irritating for her because he supposedly hates her. So the slap was her reaction.

I think Madhu doesn't know what to make of RK, one minute he hates her and is taunting her and the next he wants to take care of her and make sure she is not scared, but all that time his amusing himself when she is uncomfortable during situations, he was amused when the director shouted at her and she was teary eyed, similarly when the heroine lost her temper with her and threw the blow dryer but then he snaps out of being the monster when she screams when physically she is in pain, snubs her toe, twists her ankle. So she doesn't want him being nice to her, she just wants him at his worst and she can handle him in the same way, with contempt, every single day from now on.

When she slapped him today, she didn't like his hands on her because she is scared of the dark, he wants to accompany her, but she wants anyone else's help but not his, because he played with her feelings and amuses himself with causing her discomfiture whenever he wants, so he can get lost, so she slapped him when he was insisting as if he didn't hurt her by saying they marriage is over, now he is insisting like he has the right of a husband to touch her and protect her, she doesn't want him to pick and choose when he wants to be her husband and when he wants to hurt her.
