she slapped him out of reflex...she told him to let her go but he didn't listen that's why she slapped him...i don't think it sends a wrong message to any girl...try first verbally but if it doesn't work then you have to do something else...here rk was the one who told her not to show her face and now he wants to help her...what a joke..you said she should have slapped him on the altar...the man she thought loved her...the man for whom she was ready to give up everything left her...sry but more then anger i would be shocked and won't believe that he really betrayed her...so there her reaction was right...and i think after what he did to her is being scared of the dark one of her smallest problems

I dont think l can expect love to bloom with this couple even if there was no slap from Madhu..
enough damage has already been done by the public humiliation..her slapping him is not what makes it unpalatable.it just strengthens something that has already been made unpalatable by his actions..
Coming to yelling and not slapping..well sometimes when someone crosses the boundary of tolerance..yelling is just not enough..
IMO she has been instigated enough to warrant such a reaction..I again say that the slap was not just for him accidentaly tearing her dress..it was cumulative reaction..the tearing of dress being the tipping point..
