Since Madhu had tripped due to the hole in that wood than the ending can show RK's rocking chair breaking as well. He will topple onto the ground with Deepali falling on top of him. The symbolism would be amazing.

Then she can croon 'My herooo' and he will be saying 'na-haa Deepali nahaan'
