This is driving me nuts!

OK, so we're all agreed he's not loco and indeed loves her. Then why this? Why the public humiliation? Perhaps he'll even pull her mangalsutra out right there in the chawl in front of the crowd..

One thought springs to mind -

He's ensuring that she's so thoroughly broken that she'll never come back to him. That's what he wants. He's seen that she's forgiven him so many times, and he never has to make up with her - she never gets that upset with him anyway [remember when she found out about the Dipali love test, or when she found out RK was behind Ballu's producing Trishna's movie]. He has to do something totally drastic and irredeemable that she doesn't dismiss it and forgive him. That's what he's done.

But what is so bad that he has to take this extreme measure?? That he has to give up the most valuable relationship of his life [permanently, he thinks]?

The usual reasons would be his imminent death, blackmail by someone to give her up or mortal danger to her if she's with him.

A desire to make her a movie star seems ludicrous!

CVs, you had better make the reason why iron-clad. Don't underestimate your viewers, because right now, we're ready to see Madhu walk away for good.

Hello !

So after all that suspense this past week, today I thought I can handle whatever comes as the promo and ST gave a forewarning. The episode started rolling and I was just tranced by the beauty of that moment ... and then RK said action

As expected, RK broke ... not broke, he shattered Madhu ... he shattered Madhubala Shamsher Malik - the innocent girl with the golden heart. It was interesting how he decided not to say Madhubala Rishabh Kundra, because at that point in time, it could've equally shattered her, if not more. He told her everything was a lie, he words came like a storm and destroyed every amount of faith and trust that Madhu held for him

Yet, I don't know why I felt that his eyes looked disconnected to what he was speaking at times 😕 It was as if though with the aura of his words, he was trying so hard to control himself from giving away any clues that would quickly alert Madhu. And for that reason alone he had the alcohol so he would be able to speak by concealing everything else.

I generally don't get so emotional watching serials, but today I was so affected by what was going on. I never felt like this before while watching something. This was to an extent that I felt I was standing right there, where Madhu was, and taking in what RK was saying.

Madhu was so helpless It was like the darkness in the sky came crashing down on her, and the girl who once used to be the naive Madhubala was slowly being pulled out of her.

Apart from the painful content in the show, I got to admit today was probably one of the best episodes! The execution was brilliant, and DVD gave such an amazing performance. Especially VD 😲, he nailed it!

The precap shows Madhu collapsing onto the ground. RK keeps waiting for her to get up, but she doesn't. So he grabs her hand, pulls her up and takes her away from the venue.

I guess it's true that even if RK makes Madhu fall, he'll quickly run behind to catch her. As for the promo on Monday, I have no idea what the CVs have in store for the audience. But I'm going to listen to ST here and form my opinions after watching the episodes for the next 2 weeks.

P.S. Generally I tend to skip all heartbreaking and emotional stuff because it's too much to take in for me. But today I forced myself to watch and I'm even looking forward to the upcoming episodes. I feel like Madhu at this point of time. No matter how much RK breaks her, I don't think she can stop loving him (trust is a totally different matter) Just like that, no matter how much this show breaks my heart, I don't think I'll be able to stop watching it😆

Agree with you.. Many of them are speculating that this revenge track was shown to give way for the stardom track.. How horrible is that..Thousands of Rishbala fans are deeply hurt today asking what is going on??? And the new promo , utterly disgusting..

My mother in law practically switched off the TV halfway while watching today's episode..

After watching the new promo even hardcore RK fans who supported teh RK's turnabout were disgusted. Public humiliation is just too much to take whatever the reason maybe. And no reason is reason enough to justify his actions.

Instead of thinking and living Hell about RK and ST created Suspension of Disbelief, why don't you all watch the story of Deceit and Bounce -back...in this simple movie story. I like it very much.

I really admire AB for playing grey characters, including being a coward when he was doing cinema as it comes. To me AB is really the Artist...who became a Superstar and who saw so many ups and down in his life and still dealt with it.

i see some ppl are already making vms. i have a request if anyone can take it under consideration. it is a song by nusrat fateh ali khan "Saya bhi saath jab chod jaye asi hai tanhai" it would make a great vm. i can cry my hurt out watching and get over the shock.

great reviews I agree RK might have a solid reasoning for doing what he is doing but nothing is worth the pain and humiliation he put Madhu through today and later will on Monday. If I were in Madhu shoes I would never trust him again no matter what his reasoning maybe. This leads me to remember another line which I FELT MY HAVE foreshadowed a tragic end to the story. Does anyone remember the line RK one told Bittuji that Madhu is alway up front and that is the one quality he admires most about her. And he said "JAB GOLI BHI MARE GHI THO SAMNE SE MARE GI." i have a feeling a tragic end like that is coming. Heroes in others serials have gone to great lengths for redemption. I know angad and Sujal went to jail for their lady loves. Angad turned his lady love into a superstar too and let her bankrupt him and kick him out of his house almost. But I dont care what type of redemption RK does he has emotionally scarred Madhu for life.

Today's episode didnt hurt me as much because I was prepared for it. Not to mention all the hugs I got from my support group here and mentally prepared me. But I cant imagine being in Madhu's shoes. The guy she once felt sorry for that he had no love and only betrayel has betrayed her in a way that she cannot recover from. How can the CVs show this after giving lame lectures on women's rights a few episodes ago? Do they even know what they were/are doing?

There is an article on telly tadka on today's episode..

RK's only motive was revenge and he got one.. There are no other reason .. In 2 weeks we will see the beginning of the stardom track for Madhu..
