OMG! What an episode! I was shell shocked. I have been in denial the whole of last week up until this morning with hopes that RK will still have some goodness left in him and he cannot be that cruel and heartless to Madhu. Thank you CVs for showing RK at his height of Kameenapan today. Here we were all thinking that he has come a long away after getting married to Madhu. Her love has a greater impact on him to heal the wounds and scars to his soul and he goes on to prove that he has not changed one bit. He threw alcohol at the agnikund during their 4 phera marriage and did the same today. He was drinking then and doing the same today. He basically proved to her that he was a kameena before he got married to her and is still a kameena after getting married to her and living in her company. He was showing off to her that he is RK the great and no one and no amount of selfless love and trust that she has showered is going to change the man he is. I felt horrible and sick to my stomach seeing RK this way and all my rooting for him to have some goodness somewhere left in him go down the drain. I just felt that I don't know this person anymore and just like Madhu all I could feel was that I was cheated and deceived big time. Yeh toh hona hi tha considering they were giving out clues, hints and what not via the promo, articles and tweets. I was just being stubborn and living in denial and today is the day that I have to stop living in denial and face the truth that he is not a hero but a true anti-hero. Nonetheless, the episode was fabulous, the direction, the dialogues and the expressions were mind blowing. VD was stupendous in his delivery of dialogues and despite the episode being an earth shattering one I still couldn't stop loving it. It was zor ka jhatka types but very well executed. DD did not have much dialogues but her expressions when she just couldn't believe that it was ALL A LIE was so heartwrenching that I felt like crying with her. ST, CVs, Raghuveer Shekhawat, DD, VD and the entire crew deserves a round of applause for their efforts. The feeling after watching the episode was as though I have been swept by a tsunami and despite leaving us all shattered and scrambling to get our thoughts together was one hell of an episode and definitely a turning point in both of their lives.
Is he really that twisted and sick in his mind? I just could n't believe what I was seeing? So, basically he never forgot the slaps and he apparently has been reliving those memories of her publicly slapping him?? So this wedding set up was to basically undo their 4 phera marriage. I was just bewildered when he said that with all five elements as his witness he is undoing their 4 phera marriage. "Rishabh unweds Madhubala" just left me speechless because he went through all of this just so he could break her spirits and strip her naked of her emotions. I am still having a hard time letting go of the fact that he is no longer the guy who was so madly in love with her and almost risk his life not once but twice to save her from the jaws of death.
I just did not understand how he said that almost all major incidents/events in their life was all a big lie where it was some kind of twist introduced in his movie which he is the only one who has the right to come up with an end. How conviniently he left out a major turning point in their lives where he got shot and she saved his life by giving her blood and praying for his life so selflessly despite the way he had treated her. If her slap hurt his ego so badly and he could never let that insult slide then his ego should be hurt twinfold when she had given him blood and saved him from death. What is he going to do about? Drain the blood off of his veins?? She is his life force whether he likes it or not unless he bleeds himself dry and has a transfusion with blood from someone else.
He kept disgracing her over and over again when she did not cry after hearing what he had said and done by asking her to show some emotions and shame on her for not emoting well considering that she had spent considerable amount of time as a superstar's wife and did not learn anything from him. Thank God she is not like him and did not learn anyting from him. One RK is good enough we don't need another one but he had pushed her over to the edge of insanity and it wouldn't surprise me if she turns into another RK just so she could feel avenged. When she begs him to tell that it is a joke and he is playing a prank on her he goes on to say that his intention was to become a slow poison in her life and not kill her but ruin her life and her identity of being Madhubala Shamsher Malik. When she touched his face and asks him for one last time that he cannot do this and they should complete the pheras he goes on to say that she is only destined for a half hazard marriage and he set this all up which is all a part of his setup getting help from set director, costume guy and finally the hair dresser who let him borrow the saree. He called her why are you surprised sweetheart and then goes on to correct himself by saying that she is parayi ladki and he cannot call her sweetheart but still gives her a dirty look while saying that she does look sexy in that saree. I thought that was sick and perverse but VD was fabulous in that scene.
Precap was another shocker where he drags the shocked and devastated Madhu with him and this is where I am dreading that the synopsis is going to come true where he drops her at the chawl and asks her to give her magalsutra back now that he had declared there is no relationship between them or may be snatches it from her neck considering the way he untied the gathjod and pulled the chunri out from her head so harshly and vehemently threw that and his garland which she lovingly put around his neck.
My thoughts at this point is that character of RK is basically rewinded back to sqaure one where we saw him on the set at the studio where he got slapped by Madhu. He declared that everything that happened after that is all a lie. So, are CVs planning to redeem RK at some point or just going to let him be and make Madhu another RK? No amount of apology or remorse is going to cut it because he crossed all his limits by being an absolute moron and a jerk today. I think the CVs would pick the latter because we have been thrown hints by RK himself where he had said that there is a little RK in Madhu but for her to become like him she cannot have a heart because RK is cold and heartless and he even said that today. So, after getting crushed by RK today Madhu might very well become cold, cruel, calculative and heartless just like him and revenge might become the only thing in her mind. She might then enter the industry to prove that she can be as cruel, arrogant and haughty as him and in a sick way RK might actually like that Madhu as opposed to the loving, caring, coy Madhu that he broke today. He might then genuinely fall in love with her and she could turn into a worthy adversary for him and they could battle it out all over with their feeelings and emotions where RK might be falling for her and she might be guarded and careful when it comes to giving into any of his deeds. Bittuji also said that she is a female version of RK and it scares him to think of her that way. Anyways, do you guys think that Bittuji was also in on the plan? I don't want him to be but it wouldn't surprise me if he is involved too. Whatever happened to his will? Was it also fake? Whatever happened to him being scarred to his soul? All I could think of after today is that there is no scar that I could see him having to his soul but only a demented person who played a sick, cruel joke on an innocent girl. This I am basing solely on his statements, expressions and the disgusted looks he gave her whenever she touched him. There are so many questions that need to be answered and I guess that's why ST told us to give two weeks for the plot to unfold where he says the real reason would unfold behind his so called act of revenge and I am hoping for that to be some solid reason because the damage done today is irrecoverable and a real person with feelings and emotions is involved here not a toy so they better have a solid justification behind this act for me to go with plot and keep watching the show.
