I know what you mean Shri...there is always an odd expression on his face when he observes Madhu. An odd mixture of tenderness, determination, thoughfulness, confusion and curiosity. Another things is that he seems to focus on locking away his thoughts completely, he looks completely expressionless with his eyes hardening and glinting (not in a bad way). I saw it again today through out the ceremonies...even mentioned it in my review.

I felt that over Wednesday episode...there is always something about RK, when with Madhu...where he turns a draamebaaz to talk to her, but becomes the silent observant man when not talking to her. I have always felt that ...throughout his character...since the show beginning. There is an act through verbal expression...there is something silent, which we have never been made privy to... For ex: Preet was stuck at what he must have been thinking with the glass in his hand over August 1 episode. I too have always thought, when he is silently looking at Madhu, what is he thinking. Just that I agree, I fell for his draamebaazi act also...just like Madhu. But earlier, I had fallen for his inscrutable thoughts for Madhu. I always wanted to know what he is thinking when not revealing to audience. The intense and inscrutable looks make you see there's more to this man that what he says and acts.Look at that first Scene. For him, here she is so ingrained over his memory...Revenge. conf-call, jail...is just small thing...which I never made sense later when compared to this scene...but as usual RK always ensnares me through his drama. I say, I had given up myself on that.
I noticed it first time when he watches the slap on his tv...he starts with anger but it changes into something inscrutable as he moves closer to take a look at her. You see it again when he questions Madhu's feelings for Mukund on the bridge.
