There must be some strong reason, purpose behind RK's sudden changed behavior. And I am very sure that these things are related to Madhu and her life.

I trust RK...RK loves Madhu by heart ...his love is true but some unavoidable circumstances forcing him to take such drastic step.

Viewers will come to know RK's truth in next few episode but for Madhu it will take around 3 - 4 months.

Actually, if this was all planned, then all the scenes where we had RK pining away alone or getting drunk when he thought Madhu loved RK and Rishabh doesn't make any sense to me.
