madhu and mukund's date was rescheduled a week later as mukund couldn't get a day off from his boss. good, because rk and khushi got more time for planning.
a week later:
madhu was getting ready and so was khushi.
madhu: were are you going??
khushi: didn't i told you?? sorry!! well on a sort of date.
madhu: with whom??
khushi: someone very special (winks) he was only a friend uptil now!! but i guess there is something more between us.
and saying this she hurried of stairs. madhu was surprised because khushi always told her about her plans except for this time.
a little later mukund arrived. and he was wearing a highly irritating perfume. mukund loved madhu (or i say pretended because now madhu was going to be an actress and soon all the cash would flow in his own house.)
a little later they reached their desired restaurant although it wasn't a smooth journey all the way.
first it took ten minutes for his car to get started and then they got stuck in traffic.
at restaurant:
madhu sat silently listening to mukund's bickering about how hardworking he was in his office and he indirectly tried to ask madhu about her payment.
but suddenly madhu's eyes were wide open in shock.she was surprised to see khushi and rk standing together hand in hand!!
khushi was wearing a dark blue coloured gown and rk was wearing a black suit and they looked a perfect couple. the two were gazing in each others eyes and were smiling intently. this burned madhu to core.
just then manager came running and greeted rk.
rk:(saying out aloud for madhu to hear) please do hurry up . i can't see my pretty lady standing here for long.
khushi:(blushed) it's okay dear!! all i want is to be with you.
madhu was now totally shocked and mad at both of them.
mukund: is that khushi??
madhu: looks so.
mukund: i didn't knew that she was dating rk??
madhu: NO HE ISN'T!! (trying to hide her emotions) i...i mean it's their first meeting. (she hated to say the word -date).
mukund: really?? doesn't looks so!! they are going to make a very good couple.
madhu didn't replied.
rk and khushi didn't bothered to look at madhu as she herself was stealing glances at them.
soon waiter came with their order.
khushi: now wait and watch!!
rk: what ?? did you mixed...
khushi: yup!! soy milk in his juice!!
rk: and he is allergic to it??
khushi beamed with joy as madhu was startled when mukund suddenly started shaking violently. actually he was trying to control his itching but it only kept on increasing.
finally he gave in and started scratching. madhu was too much embarrassed. and other people were staring at him amused.
mukund quickly got up and went to washroom. madhu tried to finish her dinner silently.
just then rk called waiter. he then whispered something into his ears and waiter went inside and came with a dish covered with lid. all this raised madhu's curiosity and she stared keenly.
rk: (to khushi) here's something special for you!!
he slowly lifted the lid and khushi hugged him tightly.
khushi: jalebi!!
rk winked at her.
it was a beautiful plate of mouth-watering jalebies and khushi started eating.
while eating khushi slowly thanked rk for her payment. well actually khushi had asked rk to give her jalebi for all her help to which he agreed readily. but someone had seen both of them .
few minutes later mukund came back and madhu asked him to leave her home. she couldn't stand it here anyhow.
when they were leaving khushi called from behind.
khushi: (pretending) madhu??
madhu: oh...i was here too but i guess you two were too busy(she glared at rk).
rk: sort of(smirks)
khushi: madhu this is that - someone special!!
madhu: i had figured out!!
khushi :you don't look happy.
madhu: no, i am just a little bit tired.
khushi: okay let's go home.
when they reached parikng lot:
mukund: oh no!!the car's tyre have been punctured!!
khushi:oh dear!!
mukund: what's wrong today!!
khushi : mukund i think you should get this repaired and then come home. we will take madh uwith us.
mukund agreed reluctantly while madhu thanked her stars because she didn't wanted to stay with that nerd even for a second.
so madhu was going with rk and khushi. just then khushi realized that her purse was missing.
khushi: oh shit!! you two go, i will go and fetch my purse!!
so she rushed inside.
madhu and rk had been waiting for khushi since ten minutes but there were no signs of her.
just then a message flashed on madhu's mobile screen.
don't wait fr me. arnav's here.
v need 2 talk (official).
rk will drop u.
khushi
so madhu and rk went alone.
*INSIDE*
khushi went inside and picked her purse and went outside. but suddenly someone pulled her aside. it was arnav.
khushi: what's this??
arnav: i think i should ask you the same!! what's all this??
khushi: say it clear!!
arnav: so you got my brother now!!
khushi: what do you mean??
arnav: i saw you with rk today!! and listen don't play your dirty tricks on him!! just stay away!!
khushi: (yells) what's your problem arnav?? why so much anger !!?? (she pulled his collar) answer me!!
arnav: (jerks her off) you wanna listen!! okay!! so listen - you are a gold digger!! first you pretended to be in love with me and then left me when your boyfriend - armaan returned and now you are doing same to rishab!! but listen miss khushi kumari gupta!! i won't let you break his heart!! I HATE YOU!!!
khushi just stared blankly at him.
tears were involuntarily flowing out of her eyes.
khushi: i...i can't believe you are the same person whom i...i loved more than anyone else !!
arnav flinched at her word -loved. he didn't say anything and quickly zoomed off in his car.
arnav was like sand. he cooled as fast as he lost his temper.
ten minutes later he realized that he shouldn't have left khushi all alone specially when it was about to rain. so he decided to go back. her words were ringing in his mind. but he stopped dead in his track when he found her lying unconscious in the middle of road.
arnav quickly got out of the car and picked up khushi. though he said that he hated her but he panicked on seeing her like that.
madhu was staring out of the window and preferred to stay silent.
rk: is it your fast today??
madhu : no.
rk: oh!! i can smell someone burning jealous!
madhu: i am not.
rk: who said i was talking about you??
madhu: do you love khushi??
rk: i don't think you are the right person to now the answer!!
madhu: whatever it is, look , you just stay away from her!! i don't want her to be cheated just like me!!
rk was surprised when she said - just like me. what did it meant??
door bell rang and armaan opened the door. he was shocked to see arnav standing with an unconscious khushi in his arms.
armaan: what happened??
arnav: she fainted.
armaan: okay . let me call doctor!!
just then ridhimaa entered.
ridhimaa: what happened to khushi?? is she alright ?? and are you arnav singh raizada??
arnav: yes.
ridhimaa: thank you for bringing khushi home!! well i am ridhimaa malik. armaan's wife and khushi's bhabhi cum friend .
armaan's wife????
arnav was hell shocked at this!! he was wrong!! oh gosh!! all this time he was WRONG!!???
