Love could be that strong...part 34:
it has been a week since madhu meet rk and a week since khushi was working with arnav . but khushi hadn't told anything about arnav being her boss to madhu. madhu thought that rk might had forgotten about her as he was too busy preparing for his next film but madhu was wrong. rk was thinking about her an he knew what to do next.
next day:
madhu was in her office when she heard a knock on the door.
madhu: come in . (looks at the person) papa you??
shamsher malik (sm) : yes me !!
madhu: why did you knocked?? come na!!
sm: i came here to tell you something very important.
madhu: is everything okay??
sm: yes but not for long.
madhu: what??
sm: look madhu, you know recession is going on and we are not financially stable. a big production house is approaching us and we have to grab this deal anyhow otherwise we won't be able to stand in the market. so you have to go to their head office tomorrow and be sure that we get this deal.
madhu: okay papa.
sm: that's all (stands up to go ) and yes one thing more!! mukund called up yesterday when you were out with khushi. bye!!
suddenly reality hit her. how could she forget about such an important part of her life. suddenly she felt a heavy burden on her finger.
a ring !!
she was engaged to mukund !! she was thinking too much about rk. she had to stop. mukund was her fiance and she was going to marry him in few months.
one month back madhu got engaged to mukund and it was purely her decision. mukund worked in a MNC and was aperfect match for her (or as thought madhu). although she didn't loved him at all but she got engaged as her parents liked him and moreover she wanted to move on. but khushi never liked that mukund dixit. she found him creepy and hopeless loser and she had decided to break this engagement anyhow but she needed someone's support.
next day:
khushi reached late at office. she hurried to arnav's cabin but damn it!! he was already there.
asr: you are late!!
khushi: so you are going to fire me??
asr: (he could clearly see that khushi wanted to leave this job anyhow but that was least going to be a case.) no!! you will work for half an hour more today.
khushi: what??
asr: and tomorrow also!!
khushi: no!! no...i mean it's okay.
asr: great. now where's my coffee??
khushi: coffee?? but don't you think you should have some fresh juice??
asr: (glares at here) i have given an order to you not a request!!
khushi: sorry.
few minutes later.
khushi comes with a cup of coffee. but instead of drinking arnav spits at the first sip.she quickly took out her handkerchief and started to clean the coffee stain on his coat.
asr: stop it khushi!!
khushi: i am sorry , let me do this!
she pulled his collar and started to rub his it with her handkerchief. but she lost her balance and instead tumbled on arnav. he quickly held her by waist.
they both started at each other. arnav felt his anger melting after looking in her big doe eyes. suddenly they realised how close they were and arnav was first to break the eye lock.
asr: khushi kuumari gupta !!
khushi: what happened?? hey devi mayyia!! i didn't knew laad governor got fits!!
asr: shut up khushi!! what's this??
khushi: coffee!!
asr: exactly!! i asked for coffee but it tastes more like sugar syrup. do you remember i have diabetes??
khushi: oh i forgot!! yo told me in that trip that you didn't liked...
khushi suddenly remembered that trip seven years back when she got lost in the jungle.
arnav looked at her realized why she stopped. he could see tears brimming in her eyes.
khushi: i am sorry (and she rushed out of the room).
madhu reached the head office. she was very nervous about the deal.
soon a girl came to her and asked her to come upstairs in meeting room.
she quickly went upstairs and entered the room. four to five people were sitting inside. and one of them had his back towards her.
mr. kumar: welcome miss malik!!
madhu: hello sir!!
mr. kumar: look miss malik!! i liked your designs!! they are new and creative. and we want to hire you .
madhu: thank you sir.
mr. kumar: we are soon starting the shoot of my next film. it's the biggest project that i have undertaken. and i want everything to be perfect. and that's why i selected you!!
madhu: thank you sir but how long will be the project??
mr. kumar: at least five months!! and i am yet to finalize the female lead!! but here is our male lead.
he pointed towards that man and slowly he turned to face madhu. madhu got the biggest shock of her life. the person was none other than - RK!!
madhu: you??
rk : excuse me??
madhu: i am sorry but ...but ...i...
rk : i think yo are having some doubt miss malik!! will you all please leave us alone!!
everyone compiled and soon madhu was alone in room with rk.
madhu: what's this nonsense??
rk turned around to see her highly annoyed. she was wearing a simple white colour pajami suit with no make up but she was looking simply awesome. and her only jewelry was was the anger which was making her look more cute.
madhu: mr. rishab kundra i am asking you something!! this was all your plan na?? but let me tell yo that i am never going to sign this deal!!
rk : (comes close at presses his finger on her lips gesturing her to stay quiet) sshh...
and now listen . you know what's your biggest problem madhu?? you take decisions in hurry!! now look at this. (he hands a file to her) it states in how much poor condition your company is.
so now you have only two options - a. sign this deal or b. sign this deal.
madhu looked at rk all annoyed but she knew he was right. finally she agreed and signed. rk gave her his devil smirk and left.
