An absolutely fitting ending. ⭐️
Leaving things unsaid allows your readers to fill in the blanks and it is quite appropriate here.
A precious little girl---what else could anyone ask for?
Thanks for writing this lovely piece.

It is Dr. Doofenshmirtz. The guy bought a $10 degree in lamination. Got to give him some credit. 😆

😳Thanks a bunch. I just completed the most hectic report of the year and you made all the aches & pains go away. Merci :)

My mother always says you cannot love a man more than you love your child. I believe that mostly because I study evolution but, emotion counts too😆

I sort of blame Rishabh for not trying hard to push her away. He was the selfish one, more than her. Do not kill me for saying that. But, being professionally sick is no excuse for knowingly hurting someone.

I won't kill you and I partly agree with you. You know there was this friend of mine who wrote a SS i read recently where I violently argued with her about the male protagonist's behavior. Though it isn't the same situation there, like here I disliked him since he wasn't too strong. He didn't stop himself when he fell and eventually took her with it. But here, he never kept his disease a secret. Yes he didn't push her away but falling in love isn't a mistake too. He would've wished to have a good life with her, just like she have done. And considering how you want love and care when you knew you're dying, though it was his mistake, I consider it humane. And no I am not a hero Pankha. And I am not a fan girl. 😆

Good. A spec of human nature that resonates with me is that we are complex beings put on this earth to serve our own needs before others. For Madhu & RK, the shared want of love and belongingness belongingness brought them together. They were both selfish. They NEEDED each other. The best kind of love, in my mind, blossoms when you do not need your love, you want him. When you are a whole and so is he. But, you are together because you make each other happy. The need overpowered the want here and that's okay. The want is hard to achieve, even for me/ for most of us.

Now I just lost my train of thought. Chemistry FTW
