as i was driving home today (praying that MEIEJ was being recorded properly) I started thinking of the story line and BANG - I had an incredible thought.

So far during the build up of the Balraj story line, I have been thinking "poor Madhu, poor Madhu" as I knew her life was on the line. I even thought, "poor Padmini" and "poor Malik" and that even extended to Roma. Mind you, I never felt bad for Trish for obvious reasons.

And i felt for RK too but - this is where my idea just staggered me.

I realized what a connection this story has to RK's past.

Ok, getting to the point.

RK sees madhu with a noose around her neck. And he even sees her fighting for her life when the bench falls.

Flash back ppl. A young RK opens the door and sees his father hanging from a noose. Dead.

One traumatic event from RK's life that cost him a parent and now it happens to his Biwi.

So now i have to say it. Poor Madhu AND Poor RK!!!

Yup exactly!

I mentioned that in a post of mine earlier. RK was basically seeing his past in front of his eyes. Except this time he knew he could do something about it, so he did. He saved her!

Maybe RK will feel that he could've saved his father, or maybe he'll feel that he did all that he could, maybe this will help him get over his grief...or it may increase it.

Or we may be thinking into it too much and the CVs will just disregard the fact that RK was basically living his past again.

Oh well, I guess we'll see soon enough!

Pritt, first off, I loved your siggies of today's show. Excellent!

re the topic. I hope the writers give us this connection. And I hope it helps to heal RK to some extent. Obviously no one could get over a trauma like that but Madhu has been healing his heart for a while now so, fingers crossed.

And yes! I really hope they give us this connection as well! And really hope it helps to heal him enough for him to be able to live with what happened! That'd be great! 😳

What if the CVs DO make this connection? What if the healing process is what'll help RK in learning to trust people and stuff as well? Because he did promise Madhu that they'd come back (after they leave, which they haven't yet) after he learns to trust. What if they never have to leave? Because we all know that realistically they won't be leaving...there's got to be a reason behind that!
