The Silence before the Storm…..Madhubala:EIEJ

Junoon….then Ishq….Then again Junoon….Then Ishq and Junoon…and now what?

Is Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon losing its charm? Is the Rishabala romance getting hard to relate with??? Hey not making any judgements here, just trying to figure out where the makers-director is headed with the Rishabala Track….

Yes the passion, the obsession does not need to be highlighted every now and then, the Ishq also does not have to be that prominent because we know that RK and Madhu are madly in love but where is the fire? They have fallen in love for the first time, with those people who they thought could never see and feel past anything but hatred…..Its not easy to point out what and where exactly the fault lies, maybe its them having a bad day….especially now the show is airing 6 days a week.

But the bedroom sequence could have been more tastefully done, we know Vivian and Drashti are capable of more when it comes to Romance just like the other genres, but looks like these two brilliant actors are not being used as they should be when the tagline of their show has the two most powerful feelings any human can experience "Junoon" and "Ishq"….Anyways now that there is a bet between the two lets hope that things will get a little spiced up on the romantic front….

The Mallik and Padmini scenes are truly the ones to look out for…It took 18 years for them to realize that they loved, respected and were truly each others life partners, even after they acknowledged it, accepted it and said it out loud, their equation with each other hasn't changed one bit because this is how they were leaving for the past 18 years…..Their relationship then did not have a name, but today the man who actually insulted Padmini and Mallik's relationship in a Press Conference sorted it out leading to the two tying the knot.

Over the years (Episodes) we have seen how Roma and Padmini have bonded, becoming sisters/friends for life. The scene between the two today was one of the best Roma-Padmini scenes we have had in recent times….infact its been ages since we have one…..I must say that Roma may be the least used character in Madhubala:EIEJ with the changing scripts and tracks but the writers back then and today have always shown her as a strong character, she has some of the most impactful scenes, some of the most powerful dialogues etc…they make the best use of her…..which is what we see today….Roma loves her brother the most in this world, we know that she wanted to do so much for him but couldn't, but it was she who brought Padmini into their lives and yet we see her thank Padmini her "Mother India" for all that she did,for being there for them, taking care of them etc it was a well scripted, well executed scene.

Have been missing RK's face off with Kuku and Sikky Bhatia for quite sometime now, but today they graced us once again after a long time and it sure was a hilarious moment….RK's bets oneliners and taunting, mocking dialogues come out in the presence of Deepali, Kuku Bhatia and Sikki….They bring out the best in him….Like today's " Furniture" wala lines…having said that a veteran like Raza Murad who once was a very prominent baddie in Bollywood is hardly being used in MEIEJ…..Hopefully once the Balraj Choudhary Track is put to rest before it emerges once again, the makers will make use of Raza Murad who is capable and deserves much more than just a couple of shots.

Its so pleasing to the hears to hear RK call Radha Ji "Maa", it was on that day when he addressed her Maa for the first time in 17 Years and so was it today…..Thanks to Madhu, RK today knows….understands why Radha Ji re-married it was for him…for her Rishu, but seeing another man in the place of his father Mohan Kundra was something RK couldn't do back then, and even today. Its very in character of RK, because that's what we expect from him, he was blinded by anger back then which is why he couldn't see the why and reason with Radha Ji's actions but today when he knows he understands it and can live with it.

After his spine chilling performance where he promises his mother to kill Madhubala who is the cause for his downfall, today is the first time his highness has graced our TV Screens….It would take more than adjectives in the dictionary to praise Raj Zutshi and his portrayal of Balraj Choudhary……The way he said that he was getting the sherwani stitched for his wife's marriage and that his role it was merely to give support to the Doli, and thus requesting master ji to add sponges underneath was outstanding. In fact it had more impact than him actually killing the master ji. He leaves you with no option but keep your eyes fixated on the screen, lest you miss it on some gesture, some expression which are unique only to BSC.

The scene between Madhu and Radha Ji definitely is the sign of something big and bad coming their way….As seen in yesterday's episode Rishu addressing Radha Ji as mother has ignited a new hope in Radhaji's life and she has decided to never let go of her son. On the other hand in yesterday and today's episode we see RK and Madhu happy that now everything is sorted out , every thing has worked out well between their loved, they can leave and finally built their own world, their Love Nest……It will be interesting to see the makers take this step forward by keeping the Kitchen drama out of it and playing merely on emotions and relationships…..Looks like a new phase is all set to enter Madhubala:EIEJ
