Part Two

RK walked back into his house slowly in a trance. As he entered the doors silently, he looked straight ahead at Radha pacing back and forth as she looked towards the ground.

She was worried.

RK stared at her for a moment, he remembered back to when he was a child and got along with her. He remembered back to the way he treated her in the past 15 years. He looked down and sighed quietly.

Tears were still present in his eyes as he looked back up at Radha.

He began walking towards her. Her head turned in his direction and she froze as she saw his eyes on her. His tear filled eyes.

Then he came to a stop and spoke before she could.

"Ma…"

Radha's mouth opened slightly in awe. She was frozen in spot. She couldn't smile and she couldn't cry. She was shocked. Hearing ma from her son's mouth after years stunned her. She stared straight at RK as he looked as though he was in pain.

She knew exactly what he needed. Her eyes became watery; she opened her arms and stared at him.

RK stared at her for a moment and then at her open arms. He didn't think twice, he ran into the arms he hadn't been in, in years.

He hugged her tighter than he had ever hugged anyone before. He took in their first hug after 15 years. A hug he had longed for, a hug from his mother.

"Ma," RK repeated himself.

Radha burst into tears in his arms. She slowly pulled him away and kissed his forehead and cheeks. She held his face in her hands. They were both in tears. Rishabh had broken free from RK's shell. He was just as emotional as he used to be when he was a child.

"Rishu…beta…" she spoke between her tears.

"I'm sorry ma…" he apologized to her.

"No, no, it's not your fault, I'm sorry," Radha pulled him in for another hug.

As they remained in their embrace, RK spoke.

"I made a mistake ma…"

"No, it's okay. I made the mistake."

"No, I always make mistakes…ma…even Madhu's angry…"

Radha understood what he meant and she pulled him out of the embrace to stare at him. She wiped away the tear that hung from his eye.

"What happened Rishu?"

"I made a huge mistake…she went back home…" RK placed his face in his palms.

"Arey! There's no way I'm letting my daughter-in-law leave this house without my permission. Let's go bring her back to her real home!" Radha smiled as RK looked up at her.

RK shot her a slight smile behind his pained expression. Radha took a hold of his hand and they walked back towards the doors to bring back his wife.
