malik is such a selfless character what he only think is abt paddy's feelings.
and i feel its a padmani ek ishq ek janoon in a true sense . who can be more jannoni then ballu and ishq of malik. atleast malik didnt accuse rk he understood the gud intentions of rk.

the small and beautiful moment between rishbala when madhu came to studio. rk and madhu silently luking and understanding each other.

and lovely pecape how slowly and steadily rishbala are growing as couple. now they not need words to know the pain and to comfort each other

Beautiful Neha!!!

Beautiful episode, with everyone playing their part brilliantly.

After many many days I liked Trishna today. I liked the fact that she chose to hide her encounter with ballu from her mother and keep it to herself, although it might not be an intelligent move. I also liked the fact that she showed recognition that Madhu too falls in the line of danger(probably more than them) along with herself and her mother now that ballu is back in town. But ballu will not keep quiet. Remember what tamasha he created to get into this movie with RK. Aur ab to heroine mana kar rahi hai. He will surely track her down and that is when he might come face to face with padmini and madhu.

Madhu-RK-Malik scene was brilliant. One of the best in recent episodes. Everyone has already written beautifully about it. I agree with all of you, so won't write too much and make things repetitive. But, I will not refrain myself from praising RK and Malik. Padmini and Madhu are truly lucky to have these two men in their lives, who will always put these two ladies ahead of themselves.

RK once again proves what a skilled man he is when it comes to reading people and putting his point across to them. Loved how he understood the unspoken emotions of Malik for Padmini and made Madhu understand it once Malik left.

To ab RK sasuma ko manane ke liye thappad bhi khane ko tayar hai. Wah! Daamad ho to aisa!

Great reviews guys, though I had to skim through them (so tired from yesterday and today...)
Watched the episode and I must say it was a very good one. CV's seem to finding the balance between telling Rishbala's story and telling the story of everyone around them- while Rishbala are the focus they are not dominating the narrative, which I like. I think, especially given the six day thing going on now, taking some of the heat of the leads is definately a good thing, as it'll give them some time off, so to speak. Everyone can share the pain😆 if they keep going the way they are.
I loved the way they handled Trishna- I said it before and I'll say it again, no way in heck she would act with Ballu, not the way she feels about him. Her scenes with Padmini were also very good...a daughter who knows there is calamnity coming, but wants to protect her mother above everything else. In no way shape or form was Trishna in her "stepmother/stepdaughter" mode today, and it was heartwarming to see.
Liked the scene between Malik/RK/Madhu. The two men really are alike in the way they view Madhu and their loved ones. Malik endured 20 years of taunts for his respect and love for Padmini, and RK's obsession with Madhu will lead him heaven knows where. I don't think RK could ever be as selfless as Malik has been though. Madhu is his and he'll burn the world to keep her.
What I am excited about is the upcoming confrontration with Ballu. It'll be nice if it's a family effort, not just a Rishbala thing.
Also, is anyone noticing that RK is genuinely coming close to Madhu's family, but still keeping a distance from his mother? I mean in the sense that he does trust Malik and Padmini...but he'll never trust his mother again.
Who gets the title Radunce again- woman, for the love of Pete, stop listining to your elder DIL- grow a brain!

Subtleties of Relationships - Emotions when Overridden and when Allowed

I could not help thinking of certain scenes and going over them
Trishna-Padmini Scene today
The questions I raised on 26th Dec over episode 154 are now answered.
>>>>That's another story for tomorrow when RK's crazily jealous and Hawa Mein Udne waali Heroine Trishna will meet Balraj. Will she recognize her father ? Will she be stubborn enough to forget Balraj and let her dreams of becoming a Heroine play on ? We have to watch this tomorrow.
>>>>

Yes, Trishna recognized her father.
No. She was not stubborn. But petrified enough to turn down the movie, forget her dreams.
Instead, I saw a panic-stricken girl run home to her chawl, then remember her mom as the best ally to share her fears. And when she has the chance to actually inform her mother, she thinks better of it and doesn't want to drag her mother into those memories. The girl for the first showed us that she is capable of thinking of her mother before her fears.

I still don't know where all this is leading to, But it was one of the endearing scene today between Trishna and Padmini. The way Trishna hugged her mommy from behind and Padmini sensed her nervous tension and was kissing her like a small baby...that was so beautiful to watch. Probably that shelter, that love pacified Trishna a bit. And when Padmini just talks of Madhu randomly because of her nervous tension that she had gone through the day, Trishna only become wiser there. She becomes the girl, who was thinking like a grown up girl and trying nip the bud...try to sort a problem, the source of pain being herself only. For it is her dream of becoming the Heroine has led her to meet her dreadful father. So why don't just turn that down.

Further scenes that I thought about
Shamsher- RK -Madhu Scene from today
Radha -Dipali -Madhu Scene from yesterday
Madhu- Padmini scene from Yesterday
Shamsher -Padmini - RK scene from 19th Dec
Trishna - Madhu scene just before Madhu's marriage with RK and later the curse...

The drastic contrast in understanding sensitivity and privacy of relationships between Madhu and Rishabh comes out in the open in yesterday and today's episodes, in the manner Madhu approached Padmini and Rishabh approached Shamsher for the same thing...to convince them to marry the person he or she loves
Strangely, in this matter, Shamsher, Padmini and even Trishna are on Rishabh Kundra's camp side, in the way they approach people in emotional manner.

We get to fully understand Shamsher, for the man he is...The self-less man, who loves the woman but will not tell her as he would do anything to keep the regard honorable for her, in her trust of him. Padmini's knight in shining armour. I talked about this in my previous post. The man had already refused to let live his life when knowing that he loves Padmini and yet never let her know about it to her, so what it matter to him if he just decides to kill the man he believes to have ruined his daughter's life and gets punished. What has he got to lose anything? He was just living the promise he made to her in silent regard to Padmini ...to care for her and her happiness...and something which is now his too...his daughters. We get to see how it wrenches his heart to know that someone tried to destroy the relationships he had built with care all these years. [examples being how Madhu and RK hurt Padmini in talking about marriage, or how RK ruined the lives of his daughters Madhu and Trishna...yes he does cite Trishna too in his anger for RK]

We get to see Padmini, how she strives to be a good mother and also a caring woman for a man who had taken care of her in selfless manner. Yesterday we saw how it wrenched her heart that something that she guarded sacredly in her heart is out in the open for people to trample it. And hence her closing the windows of her hoise before everyone can trample on those sacred feelings.

We get to see why Trishna is sour and not strong, but yet grounded enough to speak out her mind to Madhu for what they received at their end in consequence to Madhu's self-righteous actions. We get to see always, how she is hurt at things getting destroyed. Because, She a motherless girl, she has seen the negation of love from her father, she had seen negation of kind regard for her. And then she saw it given to her by a woman and a man who became her parents and another woman (Roma) who idolized her and called her Heroine as if she is the princess and can dream of anything. She may not have gone searching for mother and father and they happened to her, but neverthless, she had built the relationships, because she chose to learn to feel, she understood what it is to be loved and what it is to be regarded. And now she is just scared to lose it. There in lies her deep insecurity of not being blessed enough to possess as birthright like Madhu. And hence all her anger lashed out at Madhu when she saw Madhu as the reason for it. It is only today we see, something other than Madhu returning to ruin all that she has. It was painful to see that.

Rishabh Kundra knew young that it hurts when love is lost, feeling is lost. In this regard he gets quite closer to the regard what the other 4 built (Trishna, Padmini, Shamsher and Roma). That's why he could say, Madhu you are lucky. When compared to Trishna, he had loving parents for a while and then he lost them. Hence his insecurity that he is unlucky in love and may lose it whenever he wants to keep love in his life.

In severe contrast, Madhu ended up living the truths of relationships and honoring them that others beautifully built with love and trust. Be it Trishna and Padmini, not true daughter and mother, but bound together in like feelings, or Shamsher and Padmini not husband and wife and yet bound in regard for each other. Madhu never had to see what bound those four people together...Trishna, Padmini, Shamsher and Roma. She never had to build relationships. She just had to live them in truth as passed on to her, as inherited by her since the day she was born. Madhu never had to build any relationship even with Rishabh Kundra. Like all her other relationships, she got him too in marriage. And all she had to do was respect the truth of their relationship.

Now this knowing of ...what it takes to build a relationship and what it takes to destroy a relationship is what sets apart Trishna, Padmini, Shamsher and Rishabh from Madhu. This is where Madhu overrides emotions because she just had to accept what was already built by others for her. This is where the other four accept emotions because they had to override non-existence of it and from there build a relationship strong on the foundation of regard for each other.

Rishabh beautifully understands relationships, the nuances, the subtleties everything. He sees and feels every feeling of the emotional content of the relationship.

In contrast Madhu is very blunt. She sees and feels, but overrides the subtleties of the feelings and just goes ahead with rubbing the truth on feeling persons. In the process she barges into the private sanctity or weakens fortification of the persons and causing hurt to them. She rather feels okay to undermine their emotional demands. Its only because of the truth that she is saved, she is listened to by them. We see how bluntly she put forth the truth to Padmini yesterday and now to Shamsher. She elicited anger out of both her parents. And this is same like she did with even Rishabh Kundra earlier in their relationship and even now capable of hurting with insensitive attitude but driven by truth, In moments where she would think truth (that she considers right) should be honored, she would not think twice to hurt her loves ones. And this is the reason, she is able to tolerate Radha, because she is not emotional about her, but just lives the truth of her relationship.

Seeing the modalities of it, we can see how Rishabh Kundra, gives a lot of space to the persons, that he is talking to and logically goes about presenting his thought about them or deliberating about them. He is never offensive but being respecting and expecting the same respect for his thought. He is always about what can hurt people and how not to hurt them. He is capable of using that information to make or break them further. Inspite of being insulting at times, he is still devoid of being emotionless and expresses the feelings with all warmth involved. This is how he convinced Padmini, putting the onus of her getting back with Shamsher few episodes back. The way he said unki Beti, Aapki bhi Beti...Sochiega... Now he convinced Shamsher too with Thande dimaag se sochiega and talking about their love...The way Rishabh speaks, is seeing truth without getting hurt and slowly accepting it with open heart. This is what he showed to Trishna as well. Rishabh strives to build relationships.

In these modalities of building relationships is where Madhu fails with Rishabh in the love confession track. She was being truthful, but her emotional response to Rishabh's emotions was misplaced. She chose to see truths of finite nature instead of choosing to feel the truths of moments that build a secure foundation bit by bit. This is the flawed understanding that she has with regards to Rishabh and Radha relationship. She thinks, both son and mother should see truth as truth and just kiss and make up with each other. As usual, her emotional response to mother and son is misplaced again. She thinks that the mother should exercise her right to be a mother and just get on with it. And she conveniently fails to see that woman is bad example for her to work on. And she also thinks that son should just accept the truth that he can never stop being the son to his mother, so why make an ado of the hurts and feelings and expectations. And she does the same thing with Trishna. She chooses to keep quiet with Trishna's jealous rants, but never chooses to fight back thus actually relieving Trishna's misconceptions about her insecurities...because the truth for her is that Trishna suffered and so she just accept it and live on and always treat her as her sister. And that's how she overrides Trishna's words. She asked Madhu not to come to the house, but Madhu hardly ever cares to think what would Trishna think if she sees her visiting her mother behind her back. And now the same with Dipali and how she asks her husband to be polite.

Basically Madhu is all about living the truths and honoring them and never thinks it right to dissolve herself in emotional feelings...the feelings that tug at heart. Her father calls her a girl with golden heart. But truly it is her sense of ability to see the ulterior truth beyond the immediate emotional moments which make her a formidable woman with strength and charity. She is ready to forgive everyone and expects everyone to be correctly living their lives based on their truths. But she fails to see the biggest truth of relationships. That they need building through emotional regard, timely responses, discrete responses, discrete actions and not just hope to nurture the already built relationship through plain obtuse acceptance of it or just resolve to fix a broken relationship through plain denial of the need for emotional warmth of relationship.

Until Madhu understands what it took for these 4 people to build relationships around them, she would never be able to preserve their relationships purely with her beliefs of honoring the relationships. I just hope that a day comes that Madhu realizes that she is lucky and never had to build anything from nothing. I just hope that she realizes that how the other 4 have been unlucky and yet trying to build happiness around them ...in finding love most of all. I just hope that she realizes how forcible she is being in trying to have Rishabh honour his relationships with Radha and Dipali by asking him to negate emotions and just live the truth. I just hope that she understands that she needs to see the silver lining in honoring relationships...like its okay when Padmini and Trishna bond, when Shamsher and Padmini bond, but its just not okay for her to ignore the underlying bad vibes and decadence so transparently visible in her asking Rishabh to patch up with Radha as a matter of fact honoring of truth.

In all of this...when Balraj comes out to seek her life, will she then realize what it is to lose what she loves that she may not have built, but yet been striving to keep them. I wonder...

Very nice analysis.

Have you guys noticed that how this shadi ki baat with Malik and Padmini happened without consulting Trishna? It is as if Madhu is the only child in that family who is taking this decision.

I agree that Madhu is not on talking terms with Trishna etc but no where in any dialogues between Madhu and RK do they even mention that I wish I could first consult Trishna about this but halat hi kuch aise hain.

Anyways maybe there will be a scene in the coming episodes about it.

Just thought about it and so decided to write it.

Excellent point, dear.😊
I didn't notice because I'm not fond of Trishna - not the character nor always the acting quality either.😕
