Unlike Santa we do know who should get credit for Santa's most famous reindeer

Rudolf...

The cute red nose reindeer owes his story to author Robert L May who had written a story about misfit lead reindeer of Santa with his glowing red nose saved Santa's Christmas eve in foggy wintry weather.

Story was famous in big way but all royalty went to May's boss while May was broke; but in perfect Christmas story of hope; the company shifted copywrite to May in a rare move thereby helping his troubled finances due to his wife's ill health.

Isn't it a tale of Christmas in itself...

just like a smile on Child's face ...and twinking eyes
