Insecurity and a selfishness borne of over indulgence. Pads overindulged her because she didn't want her to feel alienated. Roma over indulged her. Madhu over indulged her. It was always about Trishna's dreams and when Madhu came into the spotlight Trishna didn't take well to it. Plus Madhu married RK which was Trishna's fantasy

Just wanted to add, Trishna doesn't sit down and calmly think of how to get herself out of the problem also. Doesn't use the opportunities available to her at a given time.

Also now she's charged her father Malik to speak to RK to get her in the film industry. I think either he will speak to Madhu to ask RK or he will approach RK, RK will then say to Madhu in a rude way, because of what has happened with the love confession, that you just want to use me for my stardom and my connections only. So trouble ahead because of Trishna's request, it's come at the wrong time, had it come earlier it would have been fine.
