OS: Madhu & Deepali faceoff
This a scene where Madhu shuts Deepali up. This is not my usual style, just an experiment. I have come across posts about Deepali potentially creating misunderstanding between Rishibala. This is my dream sequence I really want this to happen but, there is no chance CVs will execute such a thing in the show. So, I will have my fun. Some inspiration from the oh-so humorous Loretta Lynn.
P.S. This, in no way, is intended to be a prediction. Some lines may seem to be atypical of the character. I just put in what I really want happening. That's it.
OS: Madhu & Deepali faceoff
Madhu and RK were a unique joda. Their first date as newly weds was filmy, to say the least. They ventured into unknown territory as they came home, hand in hand, to the glaring eyes of Deepali Sikki Bhatia. The woman put all Ekta Kapoor vamps to shame with her childish tricks. And, to no one's surprise, she had an opinion on RK and Madhu's sudden skinship.
"Aakhir, apna asli rang dikha hi diya tumhari iss chaar pehron vaali, khareedi huyi Biwi ne. Kaatil baap aur bikhmangi maa. Vaah, apne ma baap ko gareebi se tum nikaalogi Madhubala. Accha plan hai, RK pe dore daal ke, aish karo".
RK was certain nothing could spoil his mood that day but, Deepali just did it for him. He freed himself from Madhu's grip and paced in Deepali's direction, as if to tackle her. He stopped in his tracks when Madhu firmly pressed on the pulse point of his wrist. His breathing slowed down but, he was far from normalcy.
"Aaj meri baari hai", Madhu declared in a tone so foreign to RK's ears that he could not comprehend the meaning behind her words. As he was to make sense of the situation, he witnessed his sherni come out her shell.
"That's it Deepali", she roared like a tigress guarding her mate. "Those who live in a glass house should not throw stones at others. My husband shares every insignificant piece of information with me." Madhu tried her hardest to make her relationship appear stronger. She realized she had just told a white lie. But given the kind of woman she was, she would never let the world make a mockery out of the marriage she held sacred.
"I know every detail about you and I will not hesitate to spill the beans if need be. Don't you dare judge me! My parents, what do you know about them? Yes, I am the daughter of a stunt man. And, a very proud one. I have seen him stand up for me, in right and wrong. And my mother, I have seen her fingers bleed washing my clothes at the crack of dawn. Sure we never had money. But, we had enough love to feed the four of us. I never thought of leaving the chaul. You and I both know very well I did not come here out of choice. Now that I AM here, I am here to stay".
"Tum do takke ki", an envious Deepali found herself at a loss of words. She cringed and curled her sari pallu around her hand. RK folded his hands and displayed his signature smirk, amused by the sight before him.
"RK mera hai Madhu", Deepali spoke with a mouth that spit fire in Madhu's direction.
"Catfight, I like it", a cornered RK responded trying to shift the spotlight back on himself. He was quickly shot down by the death stare of the two ladies whose looks screamed, "Not now, RK". RK raised an imaginary roof and whispered, "continue", almost too scared to face the wrath of his angry young women.
"Mere paas woh sab hai jo ek superstar RK ko chaahiye". RK bobbled his head back and forth between the two dueling women, pretending to be the referee in a WWE ring.
"Aur mere paas woh sab hai job mere pati Rishabh ko chahiye". He seemed biased toward his lady love, Madhubala, and understandably so. He did a silent prayer thanking the Almighty for both the wanted and unwanted love he received from the ladies. He kept on a poker face when, inside, he was swooning over his fierce Biwi in the true fan boy fashion.
"Tum dekhti jaao Madhu. Yeh tumhara drama bahut der tak nahi chalega. Mein RK ko tumse itna door kar doongi ke tum chaah kar bhi. Hmph. Aur mein RK ko apna bana ke rahoongi." Deepali finally caught her breath after blurring out a string of dialogues that seemed to have come straight out of her flop debut flick.
Madhu fired back in full swing. "It'll be over my dead body so, get out while you can. Cause you ain't woman enough to take my man" (Loretta Lynn).
Madhubala Rishabh Kundra was the clear winner of the match as she did her victory lap across the hallway. She stopped midway to talk to her dotting husband. "Pati, mein andar jaa rahi hoon. Jaldi aa jao. Aur haan, darwaaza band karke aana. Kya hai na ke deewaron ke toh kaan hote hain, tumhari bhabhi ki toh zubaan bhi hai. Aur, taangen bhi jinpe chal ke voh apne pati ko toh rijhane se rahi. Haan, doosron ke kabaab mein haddi banne zaroor aa jaati hai".
"Madhubala 1, Deepali 0", declared the referee as he followed his wife in like the proud husband of an Olympic medalist.
RK carefully locked the door and winked at his ghost audience, hinting he might finally get lucky. He mouthed the words, "thank you" to an enraged Deepali.
